  1. AIOs and laptops heatsinks are not that high, see here for an example of what I meant:
  2. Hello Jurrunio, I plan on using an all-in-one heatsink with copper pipes, to avoid the thickness of a regular CPU cooler. But if I don't find anything else I'll keep this into consideration, so thanks!
  3. I am looking for something like this (horizontal so-dimm slots and PCIe x16), but with a modern chipset compatible with the latest Intel CPUs. Can anyone help me? Thank you
  4. Okay, good to know you're still at it ? I've had a very similar idea for my project (just planning, I won't be able to start before a few months at least), so I will follow this topic
  5. So, did you ever do this? How was the result?
  6. Thank you! It was hard to find similar topics around the web, so I feel a little more positive about this. It would be good to know if he ever did it. I thought of using an old all-in-one heatsink, or a big/double laptop fan for cooling, for example those found in Alienware laptops.
  7. I came with this idea where I would take a motherboard, whose i/o ports are the tallest part, desolder the ports and solder cables between aforesaid ports and the mother board, so that I can arrange them horizontally in a custom made case. Doable? Performance loss? Anyone tried? Examples/links? Anything else that I need to know? Thank you.
