  1. If you are too lazy to read just skip to the question, the story isn't 100% important. Ok so I have this 5.25' dvd player or whatever its called that is in an unknown condition it looks very clean and when I try to shake it it doesn't make any noise, seems to me like a small nice addon to my PC since I have a spare sata power cable and a serial ATA that are brand new and if I remember correctly this dvd drive is about 7 years old now and last time I used it was about 3 years ago it was working fine. So I was just wondering, what's the worse that can happen if I connected it to my PC? could it possibly fry a component? or will it just simply not work in the wors case senario? Thanks in advance!

  3. I have a Tuf B450m and a ryzen 2200g. The motherboard got a DVI-D (dual link) slot. My monitor got a DVI-I (dual link) slot. I got a DVI-D (dual link) 2m cable. Will this work?
  4. no he didn't he isn't a tech person he only has a single phone
  5. he had two account on his phone, he claims that one of them had all the data which was the secondary one (The lost one) however he still remembers the primary one, we logged into the primary one but there is no data in it only half of his contacts and 2 pictures on google photos
  6. well thats exactly why I need to recover his gmail... so I can lop into google photos and other apps to get the data back.
  7. Ok so here is the story: My uncle has a xiaomi android phone and he did a factory reset to it because he got one of these fake "your phone has 4 viruses" ads, but now he realized that he lost his pictures, phone contacts, and most importantly his Gmail account. I've tried using FonePaw but it's honestly bullshit. Does anyone know how can I get his files back (if there is a way to get them back) including his account in a safe way and possibly without rooting? Note: he own a xiaomi mi a1 - thank you
  8. does that mean I should not buy form amazon and search for a different website?
  9. ok so I was just about to buy a few pc parts from amazon however iam oustide the US. I put all the items in the cart and it says the subtotal is 650$ however whenever I click on an Item there is always some small text "This item does not ship to Kfar Manda, Israel. Please check other sellers who may ship internationally" or it will say "+ $31.24 Shipping & Import Fees Deposit to Israel Details This item ships to Kfar Manda, Israel" (its not necessarily exactly 31.24). when I calculate the price with the fees and shipping its a lot higher than 650, by a LOT. so what the heck is going on? what should I do?
  10. Never mind I found the solution I just had to click FN + Q
  11. In this video I am holding these keys and not tapping/clicking them but this is what the pc detects.
  12. I have a really crappy keyboard from a really unknown manufacturer, its called the "Marvo KG760". The keyboard was working normally yesterday but now I have a small problem with it. when ever I hold down a key it would automatically keep hitting the key instead of holding it probably. for example if I hold W and try to move forward in a game I would be moving for about 0.2 sec then stop moving for about 0.2 sec. if I try holding a key while writing in notepad it appears to be not very smooth and it would stop typing once every few seconds. I have tried: 1 - Re-plugging the keyboard into a different USB slot. 2 - Going to control panel and changing the keyboard repeat delay to shortest. 3 - Using Microsoft (windows 10) keyboard troubleshooting. It didn't work.
  13. Okay thanks. Can you suggest me a good fan splitter I really don't know anything about them.
  14. I am not a professional but have you tried installing the LAN drivers or do a BIOS update: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z370-E-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/
