I have a predicament where between 20 minutes and multiple hours after startup Windows will freeze. Programs like wallpaper engine run fine even after windows freezes but the second I try to interact with any programs they freeze then crash but refuse to close. Through all of this my keyboard works fine and so does my mouse. I know that this problem is cause by a recent drive swap but I have no idea on how to fix it as I have checked and validated all my windows files as well as my other programs. I have went in event viewer but nothing indicates that there is a problem.
