  1. And you just solved a problem i had for months now. thank you very much!
  2. bios showing the same thing as the app in the picture i uploaded. no, i have 2 more "case" fans, fractal design ones that came with the case. if you mean the cpu fans, i think they both connected to the motherboard via a cable that connects between the two, goes the cpu block and then from the cpu block connected to the CPU_FAN on the MB. yes i tried and then it didnt even showed any rpm reading on the bios or other apps
  3. hello. I have the h80i v2 AIO cooler and with that kit you get dual SP120L PWM fans that are rated as 2435 +-10% RPM. https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/Categories/Products/Liquid-Cooling/Single-Radiator-Liquid-Coolers/Hydro-Series™-H80i-v2-High-Performance-Liquid-CPU-Cooler/p/CW-9060024-WW#tab-tech-specs The problem is that in every fan control app (corsair link, my gigabyte smart fan 5 bios and gigabyte smart fan 5 app) the fans are reading a way lower rpm speed at 100% (1484 at 100%) What can i do? tried to download fanspeed app but it wouldn't recognize any fans in my system. I am also using the hwmonitor app for the rpm reading if that matters.
  4. hey. im using the ICUE app from corsair to control my fans speed, but after some time of use (few minutes), ICUE is losing control on the fans speed. i have a custom profile for the fans speed in the app but its just stop working after a while for no reason (displaying that the fans are on 1700 rpm with no change at all to speed, only a restart fix this, and also for 10 mints, im also pretty sure that the 1700 rpm isn't the correct speed of the fans). any idea what can i do to resolve this?
  5. I want to buy a new gpu for my pc. What is the best GPU i can buy with this system and not get bottlenecked? my specs: motherboard: h110m-k gpu i have atm: gtx 960 2g cpu: i5 6400 2.7 ghz ram: 16 gb Thanks in advance.
  6. My system: Cpu: i7 7700k Gpu: gtx 1080 strix a8g Ram: 2x8 gb ddr4 Cpu cooler: corsair h80i v2 (2 fans) Motherboard: aorus z270x gaming 7 Psu: Corsair RM650X Case: Fractal design Define C Additional fans in case: 2 fans My i7 7700k has very high temps even at idle. when at idle my temps are mostly ±38 which is fine, but sometimes there is a jump for a second to 45~55 for some reason. when opening a app, 3Dmark for example, the CPU package and cores temp go up to 70 c (max not avg). While bench marking my pc on 3Dmark, my temps go up to 70 c at max and up to 56 at avg. In cinbench, while bench marking, my cpu temp went up to 76 (max) and up to 70 at avg. For a long time i wanted to overclock my cpu, and 3 days ago i bought a new PSU (the Corsair RM650X) to be able to overclock my cpu and gpu. so i ramped up my cpu to 4.5 ghz at bios (was on deafult of 4.2 ghz before that) , went into 3Dmark bench mark, and on the bench marking my cpu went up to 90 c at max temp and up to ±75 c at avg. the oc bench mark and the first benchmark on 3DMark were mostly testing gpu, and i had high cpu temps anyway. Are this temps normal for the i7 7700k with an aio Corsair h80i v2 aio cooler? Also i think i know what the problem might be. at first when i built my pc i didnt saw it but after a while it came to my attention that the aio back plate is not fully tied to the motherboard (picture). Can this be the reason my cpu overheating? should i look into it? should i separate and re attach my aio cooler to the motherboard? Thanks in advance!
  7. i have 500 wat for i7 7700k and gtx 1080. it wont make it.
  8. My system: Cpu: i7 7700k Gpu: gtx 1080 strix a8g Ram: 2x8 gb ddr4 Cpu cooler: corsair h80i v2 Motherboard: aorus z270x gaming 7 I want to push my cpu and gpu to there limits, i dont care about the noise of the fans. Currently i have a 500 wat psu and i cant oc my pc with it. is the Corsair 650W 80+ Gold RM650x good for the task or is it overkill? The PSU Model i have atm is: fsp hyper hp 500
  9. i have gtx 1080 and i7 7700k if it helps
  10. the in game performance is okay i guess.
  11. hoo sry. it is plugged to the gpu.
