  1. Hi guys. I work for a small security company based in the UK and we monitor CCTV cameras for several companies. With the upcoming retirement of Windows 7 we are looking to upgrade our aging systems to something that will run our software better and smoother than what we are currently working with. We are currently running 3 computers each with AMD A8-3850 with Radeon HD graphics @ 2.90GHz, 16gb ram and twin ATI Radeon HD 5400 graphics cards. What we need is something that will run 5 monitors each and up to 100 CCTV displays per system. We use Qvis NVMS-1000, Hikvision IVMS4200, Zone alarm, a generic H.264 CMS software and Internet Explorer at present. Also on the subject of CCTV. We have 2 building sites and an additional 3 mobile CCTV vans that all run live stream via 3g data sims (4g in some areas where its available) and would like to find out the optimal camera resolution and bitrate settings that will give us uninterrupted live coverage without any data dropouts and save having to reset the camera devices every couple of hours while on shift. If anyone can help with pricing for a decent enough cheap system or if you can help with the data issues then all help will be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. Again as I mentioned earlier, I am out of work so don't have the money to get a better card. The GT 1030 cost me £80 was the best I could afford at the time. Also if you check out the long video here: you can see just what I mean.
  3. Hi Linus and team @ Linustechtips. I am no stranger to gaming and such on PCs but I have one issue. As you can see by the links here GT 1030 Graphics and here: System Specs I now have a decent enough system (compared to my dinosaur (P4 3.06ghz, 4gb, HD 5450, Windows 7 system that is! lol). I have also 2 monitors, (well an LG LG 26LG3000 26in LCD TV running 1920 x 1080 res and a 19 inch BlueH monitor running 1366 x 768 res) and can run most of my games from Euro Truck Simulator 2 with Promods 2.26, Farming Simulator 17 Platinum, Star trek Online, Lockon Flaming Cliffs 2 AND DCS World with F15C, A10C and SU27 modules, at full graphics settings with well over 40fps with no issues. But, I have an issue with trying to stream anything using OBS. Yeah I know NVENC is supposed to be the option to pick, but being out of work I cannot afford to buy another new graphics card. If you check out my Twitch page here: you can see some of the issues I'm having. Either the res is too high, or its so slow it'll make a sloth look fast. Here is my internet speed diagnosis from Speedtest.net but no matter what I've tried nothing seems to work properly. Yeah I already know that the GT1030 does NOT have NVENC (I didn't how ever know this at the time). Are there any tips using my current system specs without having to fork out for another card or anything else to upgrade this system any further. Please. Love your YouTube channels and watch for the hardware porn (currently watching the Cooler Master Seam Ripper (sorry Threadripper 1950x build). Hoping to hear from you soon. Thanks.
