  1. Hi all... My motherboard is MSI Z97 Gaming 5 which has 3x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (support x16, x8/x8, x8/x4/x4 modes) https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z97-GAMING-5/Specification. I've installed one GTX 1080 Ti in the PCI_E2. I'm considering to install a 1TB M.2 NVME SSD as my new boot drive https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct1000p1ssd8. I understand that my motherboard M.2 slot is 1x 2280 Key M(PCIe Gen2 x2/SATA) which will throttle the NVME SSD. To utilize the SSD full potential: 1. Can I use a M.2 to PCIe adapter such as https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=809&area=en in the PCI_E5 2. Will it affect my GPU performance? 3. If I add another PCIe accessories such as wi-fi card, will it affect any performance?
  2. The card is purchased in December 2017. It’s still have 3-year official local distributor warranty until December 2020. Seems no problem then I guess? So we can assume it’s legit? I plan to go to his house and tell him to run a few games and benchmark. Anything I should be paying attention too? But again it’s still under official warranty. And he claimed that he use the GPU for personal use as seen in the photos. Overall it’s safe to assume it’s a good buy?
  3. Hi Guys, I’m getting a used Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080 Ti for USD 600. What do you guys think of the benchmark the seller provided? Any other thing I should ask him?
  4. Guys, I found a deal for a brand new ASUS GeForce ROG Strix GTX 1070 Ti A8G Gaming 8GB GDDR5 for $570. Should I get it or go for a newer MSI RTX 2070 ARMOR 8G (non OC)? The price difference is so close. I consider it because of the deal and it’s ASUS ROG Strix, which normally will be much more expensive. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I assume it has better performance than most cards. My motherboard is MSI Z97 Gaming 5 with Intel i7 4790 non K and 8GB RAM.
  5. Is it an ideal card for the monitor?
  6. Hi guys... Is RTX 2070 enough to run the Alienware AW3418DW ultrawide monitor at 60+ FPS on most game?
  7. I'm using Cooler Master V8 air cooling. Thinking of switching to NZXT Kraken. What do you think?
  8. What if I get the AMD GPU and a Freesync monitor, say Samsung LC34H890WJEXXS?
  9. Hey everyone! I've moved to Singapore while my PC is left in my hometown in Indonesia. I plan to bring all the components except the case i.e. Cooler Master Cosmos SE, which is very bulky and difficult to bring in a flight. My current build (purchased in 2014): -Intel Core i7 4790 Haswell Series (8M Cache, up to 4.00 GHz) -MSI Z97 Gaming 5 (LGA1150, Z97, DDR3) -MSI Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2GB DDR5 - Twin Frozr -Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Pro Red PC12800 8GB (2x4GB) -Corsair 256GB CSSD-F256GBLX Force Series LX SATA III -Corsair RM Series 750W Full Modular - Gold -WDC 1TB SATA3 64MB - Caviar Black Ver, 2 I want to assemble the current build into a new case, NZXT S340 elite, and think to upgrade some components. I would love to continue to play the future simulation games release e.g. Anno series, the SIMS and other game such as Final Fantasy XV in highest setting possible. With a budget of around USD 1,000, I have few questions: 1. Which parts should I upgrade or replace? 2. I think GPU is one of the parts that must be upgraded. Which model do you suggest? 3. Any other suggestions? Thank you very much for helping me!
