Dang I think that might just work, I got it ordered. It's not coming until mid-next week so I hope it works haha. When I was trying desperately to fit the rad in earlier I did notice that it fit when closer to the side panel, so I'm hopeful. Thanks for the advice!

Hello, I recently got a 4080 Super FE and I planned on moving my AIO to the top of my case so it could fit. The problem is the motherboard heatsinks and the CPU power cable are in the way. I know I could get cable extensions for the CPU but any advice for the motherboard heat sinks? Thanks! (I know I might just have to switch to an air cooler, but looking to see if I can avoid that. If I do have to switch, you think a noctua h15 would work here?)

Motherboard screw stripped. Help!
RyRyJS replied to RyRyJS's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Thanks for the help everyone. But I found something so easy. I ordered some vampliers off of amazon and they literally removed the screw in less then 10 seconds. Its $30 for a pair of pliers but they work so so well. https://www.amazon.com/Professional-International-Vampliers-Portable-Extraction/dp/B006YJKAPQ -
Motherboard screw stripped. Help!

Yeah dont know how I screwed up this badly lol. I'll keep trying, thanks -
I might of just screwed it up even further. I have a screw that is 100% stripped and way beyond screwable. I’ve tried superglue (I know it was probably a terrible idea). None of it got on the nvme drive itself. But I can’t figure out how to remove it. Please, any ideas? Thanks so much

Thanks! Yeah I’ll plug it in to be certain.

Oh wow yeah I didn’t notice they can be split in half. So it’s good to have the extra 4 pin connected even when I’m not overclocking?
-
It’s a hx850i. Couple years old. It has two 8 pin cpu connectors but no 4 pin.

I just purchased a i9 12900k. When putting everything together I realized that the mobo has a 8pin + an extra 4 pin connector for the cpu power. I know the 12900k takes a lot of power. My 850w power supply doesn’t have an extra 4 pin connector anywhere. I won’t be overclocking. Do I need the extra 4 pin? Would it be a nice to have? Thanks

Im upgrading from a 7700k so its a pretty big upgrade. I work a lot with unity and primere and I saw some places online that excluding integrated graphics is bad for encoding and other stuff. I found the 12900kf at msrp so it was an amazing find considering the limited stock. Will I notice any difference have the kf version. (btw I have a gtx 1080 for my gpu). Thanks in advance

Found pixel 3 xl without sim and no emergency contacts. What to do with it and how to reset it (it is still locked from the previous owner). If I can somehow get it to its previous owner the would be preferred. Thank you

is the gpro good for other things too besides fps and even productivity?

So I am moving on from my original 2017 g903 because it is double clicking. I am looking at the new g903 w/hero sensor and the g502 lightspeed w/hero. I am really used to the g903`s design but I heard so many people love the g502. Also I am worried they havent fixed the g903 double clicking but I am not sure. Also looking at the gpro but its out of stock. Whats your opinions between the g903 and the g502? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I bought a g903 back in 2017 and it has worked great up until recently it has been double clicking. I just received the replacement and I looked it up and many people have double clicking issues with the g903. Do you think it would be best to sell the replacement and go with a different mouse/brand and if so which mouse? (i have not opened the replacement yet, the mouse to the right in the picture is the old one). Thank you in advance

I dont know if or not they would tell me I should wait, also there's something called returning? I already have a great understanding of the switch but I like to get others opinions, everyone's different different.
