  1. Those cleaning gels you can buy are hood for cleaning those little spots. https://www.amazon.com/Keyboard-Universal-Keyboards-Calculators-ColorCoral/dp/B07GW9TJ3G
  2. It is right on the border of being ok. I d feel safer with 500W to 550W PSU if it was me. For your convenience in the future you can check here for how powerful of PSU you need.
  3. I once had a similar problem and the culprit was the cd/dvd drive plugged in the sata port that for some reason did not work any more. So maybe disconnect all sata devices other than your main OS drive?
  4. Once i had a problem like this and the problem was the cpu cooler was a hair over tightened and caused the mb to bend ever so slightly. As soon as i unscrewed it just a bit it all worked fine.Other than that i guess you tried all...
  5. meh i gave in and actually ordered the Asus ROG Strix Flare II Animate. I currently have Logitech g810 but have major issues with either keys not registering or registering as double or triple press and it is getting worse every day. The thing that irritates me the most is that it is only 3 years old. When it worked ok it was great.
  6. Is this keyboard any good? CHERRY MX 10.0N RGB I need to replace my Logitech G810 cause it is double typing or not registering keys, very annoying indeed and it is out of warranty too.
  7. I have so far looked at this https://cherryamericas.com/cherry-mx-10-0n-rgb.html Like the plane not gamer look, low profile and tasteful RGB
  8. Hello all, I could use some help finding a good keyboard. I currently have the Logitech G810 and it was good for 3 years and now all of a sudden i am getting mistypes, double types, or no response from some keys randomly. It is infuriating and worse every day. I am looking for a good WIRED mechanical keyboard with possibly cherry browns or similar switches. I am willing to go as high as 160€. I live in Slovenia EU so i also need there to be an option to have engraving for my language. If anyone can come up with a few suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. And yes writing this on a partially broken keyboard was a nightmare.
  9. I started with an i7 in laptop i think it was an i7 870 for laptop or something similar, than i went to desktop i7 4771 now i am on i7 8700k.
  10. Screw it I just ordered the 13700K and corsair vengance ddr5 6000MHz ram with the msi tomahawk board. Screw it i was always on i7 and i feel like if i go i5 it will be obsolete sooner. Here is to another 5 years with new cpu hopefully more.
  11. Thank you for this. I will buy this too it is awesome at least from the pictures. Also if anyone from EU wants to buy it here is a link to it from the German Amazon
  12. here computer parts cost a lot more than in US
  13. i do have a bit of a limit i don't want to cross yes that is why i am not taking up higher tier CPU. I usually always went for i7 but this time they re a bit too expensive. I might just stick with my ram than. I ll see what i decide in the end, as you said i can save a lot there. no microcentr no, i live in EU
  14. I am deciding between the two too and are leaning more towards the i5 13600k. Why you ask? Well first of all I can get the CPU and MB for about 50€ less and moreover as you said yourself the i5 performs better. Another benefit from my point of view is lower operating temperature. And I also prefer the software Intel provides to that of AMD. Not that they both don't have their own issues but it is just my preference. Also i have been told that Intel scales better with faster memory than AMD.
  15. I dislike Gigabyte products. I had nothing but bad luck with them that is why I don't even turn my eye towards them. Msi MB I hear are very good and I was also looking at Asus TUF. What I am on the fence about is the ddr4 vs ddr5 memory. If ever down the line I wish to upgrade the memory to ddr5 I would have to also change the MB. So...I am unsure what I am going to do yet but I just might jump on ddr5 from the start. I always had Intel systems so far and was planing to go AMD but the new Intel cpus re really good and I like their software more. So i might actually go Intel again. I did switch from NVIDIA gpus only to AMD tho so there is some red in the PC. That being said i build my father a tiny PC in a case similar to this with r5 2400G when those cpus came out and used the 160W pico psu and a stock aircooler and his system is still running smooth with no problems what so ever. So in terms of reliability...yeah I got no issues with AMD cpus.
  16. well I am not bothered much by the upgrade path since I plan on keeping the CPU for about 6 years like i did the 8700k. So both AMD and Intel by that time will change the platform.
  17. So like it says the title I am deciding between the two. I mostly just use my PC for gaming and will be upgrading from an i7-8700K. I know it is still a good processor but i guess i just want something a bit faster since I recently also upgraded the GPU from gtx 1080ti to an rx 6900xt. And from what I saw in benchmarks it might be bottle necked in some games by the CPU. I play at 1440p. I know both cpus are very good but I cant decide. i5 13600k is 339€ and Intel MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 is 247€ r7 7700x is 359€ and MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI is 283€ plus with AMD I d have to also buy new ram. I would get the corsair Vengeance, DDR5-6000, XMP 3.0, CL36 - 32 GB for 186€ and with Intel system I can reuse my corsair vengance lpx 3000MHz 32GB. Also I will be reusing my air cooler Noctua NH-D15 i just need to buy new mounting kit. Would I see a huge benefit in performance if I go high speed ddr5 on Intel system too? I am unsure what to do.
  18. I thought of building a second pc with the 1080ti and giving it to my wife or parents but none of them need anything more than an iGPu so it is a bit of waste. I guess i ll put feelers out if someone I know is in need of a gpu upgrade and give it to him/her for a small price. I ll see what tickles my fancy
  19. So, here is my first world "problem" that to be fair is not really a problem but you know got to complain about something... I have bought an Asus gtx 1080ti Strix oc on launch day and used it until a day ago. I have upgraded to an Asus rx 6900xt tuf that i got for 750€. I mean the 1080ti is still very powerful but I play on a 1440p 144Hz monitor and the 1080ti shows it's age in some titles so I said heck...6 years was a good run now I need a new one for 6 more years hopefully. I was originally going to go for the 4080 or 7900xtx but.. you know not for 1200 that xtx costs or 1500 that 4080 costs where i live. Anyway I am very pleased with my purchase got a good deal and it runs like a dream. Now the problem lies here. I was going to sell my 1080ti. Before that I cleaned it thoroughly make it look like brand new and it does look like it was never used. Plus when i was using it I was never pushing very high overclocs, I just set the OC mode in asus tweak and the card to my knowledge never exceeded 70°C. I took very good care of it. So much so that now I dont want to sell it. I just keep looking at it and saying ... no, I cant. It is my baby. The best tech purchase I have ever made and now I should sell it for 200€? How can I. On one hand I want to sell it and not price gouge, on the other hand I just cant let it out of my hands cause I still love it and maybe someday use it again or have a backup GPU if something goes wrong with the new one. What am I to do? This all might sound a dumb problem to many/most of the people but,.... well what can I do? I cant help myself. Complaining over, I would be glad to hear some of your thoughts about this or if any of you are or have at some point been in a similar situation.
  20. I looked at that Topping DX3 Pro+ and i actually might get that. On spec side it is quite a lot better than the Fiio i selected previously and for less. I can get it off amazon for 200€. Thanks again for the recommendation.
  21. that is the price for used one, new is 256 and that is in pounds which is very expensive in euros that is 300 and is too much
  22. I will look into it, thanks.
  23. As i have said previously...surves no purpose to recommend me items that ship from USA. The customs you pay is just too high. Must be shipping from within EU and be max 230€
