  1. I suspect you're correct. Based on your advice here, I think I'll just stick with the integrated graphics for now ... sounds like I should be fine. Thanks for your time and really quick responses!
  2. Mostly simple converting between formats (MP4 to MKV, Blu-Ray and DVD ripping). Software varies, but nothing fancy ... DVDFab, MKVToolnix, etc.
  3. Monitor resolution right now is 1920x1080, but will be upgrading the monitor in the next couple months, so will likely be higher.
  4. Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated. And I accidentally linked to the wrong MB. The correct MB is: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157792
  5. Looking for recommendations for an inexpensive graphics card, but not the typical advice. First, I'm not a gamer (weird, I know ... ) I would be typically doing a lot of graphics editing (Photoshop, etc) and video editing/processing/conversion. Seems lots of the benchmarks and performance indicators are geared toward gaming, but are not relevant to my needs. The kicker is I'm looking for something around the $150 range. At very most, $200. Right now I'm leaning toward this for $130: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA23X6T73429&ignorebbr=1 CPU is Intel Core i7 8700K Motherboard: Asrock X370 Taichi https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157792 Seems that all the graphics card reviews and features are geared toward gaming performance and make very little mention of regular computing performance. Anyone have any experience with the card I mention above or care to offer some practical recommendations? I'm really just looking to upgrade from the integrated graphics on the CPU. Cheers! Dean
