  1. Ok, then my last guess might be your internet? Are you hardwired, or do you use a wifi card/usb?
  2. The 1050ti runs games like Overwatch, Fortnite, and other popular titles very well. Most well-optimized games can play well above 60 fps on high/ultra. It really depends on the games you are playing. I just suggested the Nitro 5 because it is probably the best choice budget-wise, but that is my opinion. If you are willing to spend more than the Nitro 5, but less then 1000$, most other options have 1050's, not 1050ti's. If you are patient though, you can probably snag a good deal on a more powerful laptop on websites like Newegg. It is really up to you though. Hope this answers your question!
  3. How much RAM do you have? if you have a lower amount, you probably would run into bandwidth issues between Overwatch and Discord.
  4. I would recommend the Acer Nitro 5, it is less than 750$ and has a gtx 1050ti and a 7th gen intel i5, it should be more than enough for most games. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/Flagship-Premium-Acer-i5-7300HQ-Keyboard/dp/B07CWBM1B9/ref=sr_1_12?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1528287259&sr=1-12&keywords=acer+nitro+5 I hope this helps!
  5. I would definitely go for 16gb of ram for futureproofing's sake. I would definitely recommend getting ryzen 1500x and a 1050ti if you do get 16gb of ram though.
  6. I would try something along the lines of this partlist right here if you can't really stretch your budget much: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TFL78Y The 1050ti is still an amazing budget card, and it is a great time to buy because the prices are lowering. I hope this helped!
  7. I disagree! Here is my reasoning: -Prebuilts can be more expensive because manufacturers can raise the price because they are "building" the pc -Sometimes, prebuilts restrict upgradability (lack of space for full size gpu, unique motherboard shape, etc.) -You have a better chance, withe the gpu prices lowering, to get a better price by building yourself. I will try to post a reply on this thread with part recommendations to accommodate your budget
  8. Alright, thanks for the replies! I will go with a 8gb pack for my partlist. I really do wish that the ram prices could go down soon though :\
  9. Ok, Do you play with those specs? I have seen Youtube videos with Overwatch running 60+ fps on high
  10. I am looking for parts to build Esports Pc's for the team that I am on. Wondering if anyone plays on these specs: Ryzen 2200g Integrated graphics 4 gb of ram (ddr4) Will it run and can I play at high graphics quality? Thanks!
  11. I would say that you might want to try hardwiring your laptop if possible, I play over wifi too, and face many ping spikes. I hope that helps!
  12. It happens with age, some last longer than others before that noise starts happening
  13. I would say that if you have an overheating laptop, you might want to check the insides to see if there is an airflow blockage or maybe a problem with the thermal paste.
  14. HDD noises are normal, My Western Digital Blue does the same thing occasionally.
