  1. I completely agree with I_build_nanosuits fx6300 if you don't plan on upgrading in the near future the Pentium if you do intent to upgrade to an i5-i7 soon.
  2. Gtx 780ti for lower operating temps a 290x for price/performance.
  3. Please don't go with an apu, apu's just aren't there yet for gaming. I would go with the Amd Athlon 2 X4 750k(much cheaper) and a dedicated gpu like a 7770/7790. Save a little on the motherboard that coolbeans suggested and don't go with that ram just use 1600mhz. ram i think even 1333mhz will do the job. Also the 1tb hdd isn't necessary like you said. Use these savings to buy something like the cx 430 from coolermaster which i think will be enough. If possible something a little beefier i think you can manage to do all that at around 500 dollars.
  4. Don't go with that cpu, go for an non s one that is clocked @3ghz or higher. Also why in the world would you need a 600watt power supply when you want to put in a 750ti ?. Go for a 500watt psu and use the money for a more solid cpu. Other than that i think it's a pretty capable machine.
  5. I would go with 8GB @1600mhz ram because you won't get a noticable performance increase with the higher clocked ones especially in gaming. And personally i would go with a cheaper motherboard and use the money you save on both to buy an I7 4770(k). apart from that it's a solid build.
  6. I see you're planning to buy your parts from alternate. I also bought parts from alternate (Netherlands) for my build but since you are on a 600 euro budget i suggest looking parts up from other websites. I recently build a pc for a friend of mine with a i5 2500k and an Gtx 660 for only 460,00 without an ssd. I managed to do that by buying from 3 different websites and 2 of them had free shipping without a purchase minimum. Just a suggestion good look with the build neighbour .
  7. Get a 500watt power supply everything above that will be complete overkill (waste of money), Don't go higher than a R9 270 everything above that will be bottlenecked by the processor. And look for a short card with 1 fan. Not ideal for overclocking but considering the case (which isn't meant for gaming) the airflow will be far from optimal so I say don't overclock anything at all. Good luck with the upgrade.
  8. HD7870 + More Powerful + Same price or sometimes a little cheaper - Runs hotter/needs more power - Inferior driver software GTX 660 + runs cooler + Superior driver support + PhysX - Less powerful - lower price/performance
  9. I agree, the parts are well sorted out except for the HDD.
  10. I really don't recommend an apu for gaming (yet) Get a Corsair CX430 which is great price/performance and go for a AMD Athlon x4 750k which is cheaper and more powerfull than an a8 for example. And add a dedicated gpu like a HD7770 or GTX 650 ti (if the budget allows it). Try to save money on the case and consider 4GB of ram which you can upgrade later. This way you'll be able to get a much better experience then with a expensive case and an apu because that amd cpu is a lot cheaper. If you save on those three things that I mentioned you can use that money for a dedicated videocard that I always recommend above current apu's.
  11. This is the completed build that i made for a friend. I personally picked the components, and put them together in one afternoon. The budget was 450,00 euro and i exceeded the budget by 10,00. Components - Aerocool V3X Devil Red case - Intel Core I5 2500K - MSI B75MA-P45,s1155 - MSI Nvidia Gtx 660 Gaming - Corsair Valueselect 4Gb ram - Corsair CX 430watt psu - Dvd drive (from old pc) - 750Gb hdd (refurbished product) - Extra intake fan - Windows 8.1 (non retail) I did some cable management after taking the picture of the inside. Unfortunately there wasn't much free space on the sides for cables i didn't need. But because of the free space behind the front intake fan i still managed too keep fairly good cpu and gpu temperatures idle and under load. I hope this can be used as proof that a decent gaming rig doesn't have too be expensive espacially when you use a couple of components that you can scavenge from an old computer.
  12. I agree with this. Beacause when you are on a budget you will get a better performance from amd. On the other hand you can consider a 6300 with a Gtx card if you like the driver support from Nvidia better. It is a personal choise but i am just bringing it up as an idea.
