  1. I have a 2070 Super and want to buy a 1440P 144HZ IPS Gsync monitor in Black Friday. I'm mostly gonna use it for gaming. Both monitors seem to have good reviews but I don't know which one would be the better option for me (I'm located in Israel and both monitors cost the same here)
  2. Hello! I've overclocked my RAM for the first time and I'm not sure if my results are good or not. I'm using 2x8GB Micron J-Die sticks @ 3600mhz I've managed to get the timings from 17-21-21-39-83 to 15-21-19-38-63, GDM off in both cases. I've also changed subtimings and tertiaries to the recommended safe values in this guide - https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHelper/blob/master/DDR4 OC Guide.md#overclocking My CPU is Ryzen 5 3600x, Motherboard is B450 Tomahawk Max Insight on the OC would be appreciated, thank you! Before OC After OC
  3. Thanks I really appreciate the help! It just seemed weird to me because I wasn't getting as much pop ins with my old rig. Maybe that was because I wasn't playing at ultra settings with my R9 390. Anyway, if it seems to be fine I'll just leave it alone. The GPU is under warranty for 3 years anyway so I don't have to deal with it now if it turns out to actually be an issue. Thanks again for the help!
  4. Thanks @Mateyyy, I'll take a look! Also, the pop ins are very noticeable when driving through a lot of grass For instance - https://youtu.be/5dx_SsoM3Kc Do you still think it's fine? It looks too much but if you say it looks fine I'll just let it be lol
  5. Thanks for the replies everyone! My draw distance is max in all games I've already tried DDU and I'm using 446.14. I've updated to the latest driver and started experiencing stuttering in WD2 so I've downgraded to 446.14. I've also noticed that there are some light pop ins in Siege which should not be that heavy on the GPU. I don't recall any pop ins with my old R9 390.
  6. Hi! My GPU is only 1 month old (2070 super gaming X trio) and I'm experiencing some texture pop ins. In Watch Dogs 2 - 00:11 - Look at the windows of the house straight in the distant (they suddenly light up) 00:33 - Look at the trees on the left In GTA V - 00:17 - The fence which fades in 00:26 - Look at the lifter (or whatever this thing is called lol), the hooks suddenly appear It also happens when I drive through a lot of grass, grass suddenly appear or change texture. In Warzone I also experience similar symptoms with mountains and nature scenery. Watch Dogs 2 is installed on my 1TB SSD (Crucial MX500) GTA V and Warzone are installed on my 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM HDD What do you guys think? Should I be worried?
  7. Hi! I have a R9 390 for almost 5 years and everything was fine until today. I was playing yesterday and everything was great. I woke up today and turned my PC on and it shut itself off after a few minutes of doing nothing. I checked the temperatures and the GPU was slowly raising from 80c and turned the PC off at 99c. I opened the case and the fans were not working, not even when I first boot my PC and not in BIOS. I've tried... * Reapplying thermal paste to the GPU * Reconnecting the fan cable on the GPU * Reinstalling drivers * Switching PCI-E power cable Is it safe to declare its death or is there anything else I might have missed? Also, this is really important to me - Could there by any specific reason for that and a way of avoiding it in the future? I've ordered new components for a new rig a few days ago and I really don't want them to die for no reason too.
  8. I play many genres and do not want to commit to a number of games, that's why I've picked the 2070 super. I want my PC to support all new games and upcoming games at ultra settings and good FPS
  9. I already have a PC but its starting to show its age and I'm getting tired of it. I'm planning to pair a 2070 super with a Ryzen 3600. Someone told me I should wait for Ryzen 4000 and RTX 3000 if I already have a PC but someone else told me that if I keep waiting I will never buy a new PC because I will always be waiting for the next set of components. To be honest, I tend to agree more with the second argument. What do you guys think? Just pair the 2070 super with a 3600 and go for it already or wait? I'm currently gaming at 1080p but if I go for the 2070 super I will probably buy a 1440p monitor in Black Friday or something Current PC specs: i5 4690 (non k) Radeon R9 390 8GB (MSI) 16GB DDR3

I don’t know the answer to your question but I suggest you join the Nintendo Homebrew Discord and ask it there. They’re really helpful. https://discordapp.com/invite/C29hYvh
  11. I've just upgraded my RAM, ran the Windows Memory Diagnostics tool and went to check the results in Event Viewer. Well.. the results are good but turns out I've been getting "Disk X has been surprised removed" in the event viewer every few hours for a while now. I think I get an alert for each internal drive. Obviously I'm not trying to disconnect them so I don't get what's wrong. Should I be worried? https://i.imgur.com/ItIU2tf.png
  12. Hi, I'm looking for a basic laptop for school, web browsing, video calls and office work. No gaming. Is this one good? Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15IIL 81W800EVIV
