  1. Im pretty sure, tested my GPU on my brothers rig and my CPU is fine. My display is connected to gpu. I also removed the GPU and connected to igpu but no luck either. I purchased my ram a few months ago but I don't think they could be the cause.
  2. Hello everyone! I received my new motherboard in the mail since old second hand one was not booting anymore. I ordered a msi z270-a pro from Amazon and it came in today. I have built computers before so I'm not a total noob. Anyways once I plugged everything in, it booted but showed no signal. I have tried resetting cmos and reseating the GPU. Any other suggestions? My specs: i7 7700k, gtx 960, 16gb trident z 3200, thermaltake 80+ bronze 750w, 1tb hdd and msi z270-a pro and h100iv2
  3. worth. if you really are in need of a pc go for it.
  4. I have a 7700k with a 960 I run it at 5ghz easily since I delidded it, but I streamed csgo a few times just to test my pc and I was at 300+ fps consistently with all low setting besides shader which was high. Btw it was 5v5, on dm I got maybe a few less frames since more people
  5. I would just rma the card if its giving me artifacts lol.
  6. Yea maybe, originally I thought it was a gpu problem but I turned it on horizontally and stood it up vertically and everything was fine. I am just thinking about calling asrock tommorow and maybe see if they can identify the problem.
  7. No image when vertical. It literally says no signal on my monitor. Its kinda weird that it stays booted when I turn it on horizontally then lift the case up, so Im not really sure what the issue could be.
  8. Yep I tried re adjusting the ram and gpu today and no signal when trying to boot while standing up.
  9. Nope its fake and possibly an older nvidia gpu. Just get a gt1030 from newegg its just 20$ more.
  10. Yea thats what I thought at first but I reconnected everything again and nothing changed. The psu is non modular btw.
  11. Hey, been having some issues with my pc since I first built it. So when I go to boot it while the case standing up it doesnt give any signal, and all the fans start spinning but no display. But when I turn it off and lay it sideways and press the power button it turns on perfectly. I looked at the manual and tried looking everywhere in the bios for a case orientation setting and couldnt find it. My mobo is an asrock z270 pro4, my full speccy list is attatched. Also I know its not an issue with any cables being loose because when I turn it on while lying flat then stand the case up it works perfectly fine. Just looking for some help.
  12. Unpopular opinion Windows 8.1 is the best windows ui wise. It is clean and nice
