  1. Hello guys. So as i say in the title my Local Disk (C:) Drive which is a Samsung m2 evo 970 plus keeps changing available space randomly (It varies between 180gb to 170) I recently downloaded Davinci Resolve 17, and it is installed on my C drive even though i changed the Installation folder,so i am guessing i should uninstalled it ? I don't know what to do,and from what i have heard, writing and reading a lot of times an SSD damages the drive. Is this going to damage my hard drive? Thank you for the help.
  2. Hello guys So these are my specs: CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 3GB Windofrce RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z 16GB (3200mhz) Mobo: Asrock B450M Pro 4 PSU: Deepcool DQ750-M White 750W Full Modular Gold Rated Power Supply Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250GB (OS) Samsung 860 Evo 250GB (Games) Western Digital Blue 1TB (Storage) So as i said in the title the PC makes a weird like "grinding" noise randomly. Its not something consistent as it goes away after 4-5 seconds. I am guessing its the PSU'S fan but the thing is its only a year old,and its a good quality PSU. At first i thought it was the HDD,so i changed it but as it seems it wasn't the HDD. Then i thought maybe my GPU could have gone bad because its already 4 years old and i am already planning to change to a RTX 3060Ti later. Also i checked the CPU'S Fan to make sure it hasn't gone bad so i bumped up the RPMS to hear the fan spinning and no sound came from it. So i am pretty sure its either the PSU or the GPU. What do you guys think? Should i sent it for replacement or i guess wait to see? Given how the situation still is in my country, with quarantine etc i probably wont get my PSU back if i sent it for warranty for a month at least. The thing is,i still dont know how the Fan of the PSU could make this noise since its not consistent and it happens once in a while. I am so confused. Thank you
  3. Sure here it is. Btw sorry for the clicking, its the mouse. I was accesing some photos etc saved on the HDD to make sure you heard the noise. video-1607571024.mp4
  4. You mean i should wait and see if it dies or not?
  5. No its not appearing any errors.I double checked and the disk hasn't shown any errors when i open something, it just makes a sound when for example i play an Open World game, its like a grinding but more "light" i guess you can call it fluttering. The HDD is brand new i got it today.
  6. Hello guys. So i got a new HDD Western Digital Blue 1TB and when i open a file or a game/program that's installed on the HDD it makes a small grinding noise? you can say and then when i quit the program etc it stops or its not that "Consistent". I dowloaded HD Sentinel to check the Health of the Drives and it seems completely fine. What do you think guys?
  7. Hello, thanks for asking. No nothing happened i was just asking because,i downloaded some programms like Discord and Chrome which they didn't let me choose the Install Location so they automatically were installed on my C drive. I am asking if for example i want to delete these programs, will it affect the drive and "shorten" its lifespan? I've also heard that Chrome/Firefox kinda "wear out" the SSD because of their constants R/W.Is this true?
  8. Hello guys So as i said in the title i am wondering if its safe to delete programs from my NVME M2 Drive or formatting it. I recently did a Clean Format and i know that the more you delete or format a an SSD the more its lifespan shortens. Lets say for example i will change my MOBO/CPU and i will have to format again, is this going to "damage" the drive? Thank you
  9. Yeah thats what i think too. My GPU IS 3GB so the struggle is real.As for the CPU though i still dont know if its worth getting a 3600 or something like that or staying with R7 for a few years more(Till DDR5 releases and becomes mainstream).
  10. Thats true but i have heard a lot of people that still have problems with their AMD Cards' drivers and RX 6800 hasn't been released at least here but from what i have seen it costs around 579$ i think? so here it will be like 700 or something so again its out of my budget.
  11. RX 6800 hasn't been released at least here but from what i have seen it costs around 579$ i think? so here it will be like 700 or something so again its out of my budget.
  12. Exactly. But the RTX 3070's price is from 680 to 890 here so its way out of my budget.I canw ait like another month to see if they lower the price but i dont see any other alternative for RTX 3060 TI.What do you think?
  13. Hi guys So this is my current system: CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 3GB Windofrce RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z 16GB (3200mhz) Mobo: Asrock B450M Pro 4 Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250GB (OS) Samsung 860 Evo 250GB (Games) Western Digital Blue 1TB (Storage) So as i said in the title i want to upgrade either my CPU or my GPU. For the GPU i am heading towards a Gigabyte Geforce RTX 3060TI 8GB and for CPU, i dont know yet. Is it worth it to upgrade my Ryzen 1700 to a 3600 or something? The truth is i do a lot of multitasking so Ryzen hasn't disappointed me yet. What do you think guys? Is my current CPU futureproof for maybe 1-2 years?(maybe more? Also i play on 1080P and to be fair i don't play each and every game that comes out on my PC but i am definetely be buying CyberPunk so my current GPU won't handle it So thats about it. What do you think guys. P.S RTX 3060TI costs around 550 where i live so if you got any other suggestions let me know :). Thank you.
  14. So guys i want to buy an i5 8400.Unfortunately i couldnt find any VFM mobos for this cpu.All i hear is that B360 mobos are s**t and they will underclock my CPU etc.Do you have any suggestions? My budget for the mobo is around 100-130.Thank you.
  15. I7 8700 costs 280 euros here+I think its a bit overkill for a gtx 1060
