  1. Hi, folks. Couple months ago I purchased a bluetooth headset for my gaming needs because I was quite tired of losing even good quality headsets due to cable wear. Sound quality was actually quite good, but as soon as any software turns the headset's microphone on, such as when entering voice chat on Overwatch or entering a Discord voice channel, the sound quality becomes horrible. From what I've researched over the internet, this is due to bluetooth audio drivers on windows automatically activate handsfree audio mode when a wireless microphone is enabled, which reduces sound quality to telephone level, which is absolutely terrible for gaming, especially in games where spatial/environmental noise is a gamebreaker, like CS:GO. So, my question is: do 2.4 GHz wireless headsets suffer from the same quality loss? Are wireless headsets definitely a no-go for gaming? Thanks in advance.
