  1. I'll try a 4ghz overclock again tomorrow. Quite happy with 3.9 and 1.3v as it's been running Prime 95 for around 6 hours or so now and temps haven't gone past 58 degrees. I just selected the xmp profile for the memory so that's at 3200 and voltage is 1.365 but that was set automatically as part of the profile. Don't know if that's a little high for the memory though.
  2. So I have got 3.9 stable at 1.3v {going to run a torture test overnight} Tried to. Up it to 4ghz and it will post even at 1.3v but crashes during cinebench. Same happens al the way up to 1.35v it will post but crash at cinebench. I'm well happy with 3.9ghz as it's my 1st time ever overclocking, even PC building however I feel like I could probably get it stable at 4ghz if I knew how. I'm assuming I could probably do it at 1.4v but I really didn't want to go over 1.35 if I can help it. Cinebench score with 3.9ghz @ 1.3v is 1750
  3. Thanks guys. I'm new to this. Currently I'm at 3.9ghz at 1.3v been running Prime 95 for about 30 mins so after an hour I'll try 4.0ghz.. Currently temps are 51 degrees.
  4. I am new to overclocking and just finished my 1sy ever PC build. I have just started overclocking my cpu and am using Ryzen Master to find my cpu limit then will lock them down in BIOS. I went straight to 3.7ghz at stock voltage. Idle temps are 22 degrees and under load after 15 minutes of Prime95 is 41 degrees. Is this normal? Ambient temps are 12 degrees. Ryzen 7 1700 Noctua NH-D15 MSI x370 power gaming titanium 16GB G Skill Flare X running at 3200ghz set easily by selecting profile 2 in Bios. Asus ROG Strix 1070 Samsung 960 evo 500GB Crucial MX500 500GB Sandisk Plus 240GB WD Blue 7200rpm 1TB EVGA 650w Gold Fractal design R5 with 3 case fans I'm thinking I should be able to hit 4Ghz with the above initial results? Also is Ryzen Master accurate at reporting temps? What else could I use to report temps?
