  1. Glad you mentioned the BitFenix LEDs. I just checked them out on Frozencpu and they might actually be the ones in the video. The final shot in the video shows a LED strip between the motherboard and reservoir that looks like their 6 LED version. Doesn't mention anything about the fading effect on the product page, but I guess that is just something you could do with lighting control perhaps. Not a feature that matters really though although interesting. Think you just solved it for me
  2. Just figured out how to reply properly (still new at this ) This is most likely the case and just has to do with placement. I've been over thinking things a lot for this build just because I want to make it perfect. It probably wouldn't make much of a difference what type LEDs I use. Just need to make sure there hight quality with good directional lighting. Like the Phobya LEDs posted above.
  3. I did wonder if it was UV coolant at first when I watched the video, but I found that most UV coolants look more pink under the UV effect instead of the scarlet red in the video. I definitely agree about the lighting placement though. I need to make sure I get lighting that is easier to control the direction it is being placed on. Instead of the types that saturate/flood. the entire space. Probably means I need to avoid cold cathodes then.
  4. Hello, this is my first time posting here. So hopefully the topic is appropriate for this section. I'm trying to decide on lighting for a 900D build I'm working on. I found a video on youtube that sparked my interest in the loop design. In particular how the builder managed to get the lighting effect on the tubing. Its clear tubing with red coolant, but it has a distinct glow that I haven't really seen in any other build before. I was hoping someone could help identify or give a suggestion as to what type of lighting is being used. That can give the same effect. I want to try avoiding the dull flood lights I see in a lot of builds. I know some LEDs can be extremely bright from certain brands. I wondered if this was the case with the build in the video. I also noticed some of the lights had a fading in and out effect. Might be helpful for figuring out which brand it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fib5yCfR-rI Note: I did trying sending a message to the video uploader for information with no success. Doesn't seem to be very many details for this build online.
