  1. Maybe plugging a USB device into a different port could help? edit plus, I'm pretty sure my BIOS are fully updated.
  2. So, when I play csgo, sometimes, I blue screen. This is infuriating because I usually get a competitive ban. Here is the file from BlueScreenView - ================================================== Dump File : 051814-21465-01.dmp Crash Time : 18-May-14 18:59:53 Bug Check String : Bug Check Code : 0xa0000001 Parameter 1 : 00000000`00000005 Parameter 2 : 00000000`00000000 Parameter 3 : 00000000`00000000 Parameter 4 : 00000000`00000000 Caused By Driver : atikmdag.sys Caused By Address : atikmdag.sys+28ece File Description : ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver Product Name : ATI Radeon Family Company : Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. The 2 files posted above are the ones highlighted red and (I assume) caused most of the problem. Specs of my PC- g.skill 8gb RAM, HiS IceQ X 7850 (OC), AMD FX-8350, msi 970a-g46, WD 1tb blue drive, fractal design xl r2 case, and a 600w Seasonic M12II PSU. My GPU is overclocked, my CPU is not. Thanks.
  3. SMART reports have been known (in the past at least) to warn you your drive is failing before it's too late. Back up your data.
  4. Great! Thanks for all your help. I probably won't order a new fan until it gets worse, few months (I will probably dust it at a certain point).
  5. I'm using the stock fan, the ones with the clips already on it.
  6. I don't think I have the clips anymore. Thank you for your help, though!
  7. There is nothing hitting the fan. I checked multiple times.
  8. Thanks! Don't I have to get some special clips that allow it to be mounted onto the CPU fan? Just a side note, I'm pretty sure the CPU fan plug on my motherboard is underneath the heatsink pretty much, so that might be a pain.
  9. Is there any fix? Or do I need to just buy a new fan?
  10. So, the first time I boot up my computer (when I get home from school) a fan makes a weird crackling sound until desktop. This noise, I found after troubleshooting was the product of my CPU fan. Weird, I thought. It is quite dusty, could this be a factor contributing to the noise? If so, what else could be? I have attached a sound file to this post if you want to hear it. https://soundcloud.com/bobthejigglebobby/cpu-fan Any ideas? Thanks.
  11. I did the registry backup and just selected "Fix it for me." I restarted and everything seems fine now. I guess I'll find out if it truly works when I launch my games and such and nothing bad happens. If something did, the program made a system restore file AND I backed up the registry, so everything should be fine now. Thanks for all your help.
  12. In order to see which fan is the right one making the noise, I would have to do a 3 day test, because after it is done booting up, all is well and good. So I will try that.
  13. Do you think it's the HDD or the optical drive? I ran a lot of HDD tests and they all came out positive that it's working fine (the WD extended tool).
