  1. No, I don't have one. I was just a little curious. I only used linux in a virtual machine. Laptops with that chip are cheap. So, was wondering if I should buy one for running linux.
  2. Can a laptop with Intel® Pentium® Processor N4200 processor run linux smoothly? By linux I mean ubuntu. I am a little curious about this. n4200 is a fairly low power processor. How would it perform if the latest ubuntu release is installed in a laptop with n4200 and 4 gb RAM?
  3. I need a new laptop for when I am in the university campus (recently enrolled). I will mostly (90% of the time) use it for browsing the web. I will generally keep 10 - 20 tabs open in chromium. I also might need a little screen recording (1080p 30 fps) to share some lessons with my friends. What I want to know is, which laptop cpu is good enough for my needs? I have the following two cpus in mind. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i3-8130U-vs-Intel-Pentium-Silver-N5000/m468020vsm499477 My budget is 500$ for the laptop. I have a fairly decent desktop (browsing with 40~ tabs + 11 apps open) which I use for video editing and other heavy stuff.
  4. Will an Intel 9th gen processor such as i5 9400F fit in this mobo: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Gaming-B8-rev-10
  5. So, I am thinking of buying a new laptop. Would like to hear the opinion of other users here about asus and dell. I am looking for a laptop 14 or 15.6 inch at the price range of 500 - 700 dollars.
  6. That's a portable desktop. Majority of people can't use it in there lap.
  7. I am considering buying this keyboard. But I can't find any info about its actuation force. What is its actuation force? Also, I would be happy if someone shared some of the cons of this keyboard. I plan on using it on android phones and laptops.
  8. I really don't understand much of what all the things about switchs etc etc mean. @geo Can you give me an example keyboard which uses 60% mecha?
  9. @NMS Yes, that's exactly what I need. I would love some suggestions in the price range of 50 - 100$
  10. So ... I need a new keyboard which I will use to mainly write docs and codes. My current keyboard makes me tired after I write about 400 words. It is a hp membrane keyboard. I need something that won't make me tired so early. I looked into the following two keyboards but don't really know which will be better for me (writing docs and code and a little bit of strategy games ). Corsair K55 RGB Keyboard. Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire.
