ParallelTwitch's Achievements

  1. Paid minimum wage in Australia for 17 yr olds which is $9.75/hr. Idc though because I just sit and watch YouTube, just have to get the laptops to a stage where the deployment server takes over ?
  2. Xeon E3-1231 V3 I used to have an Intel Pentium G3258 at 5.2Ghz but it died after a few years so I got the Xeon for cheap. I used to use a Z97 board but now I have to use a B85 because I broke some pins in the socket by accident.
  3. Still in school but in December holidays, I get a few weeks of work installing Windows 10 on around 500 Surface laptops. Would be about $1400 but ill try and get more days to save for the extra RAM.
  4. I'm almost done building a list of parts for my pc upgrade in December (Will update parts if prices change and parts release within budget). The final decision is between getting 16GB DDR4 3600Mhz and an R9 3900X or getting 32GB DDR4 3600Mhz and an R7 3700X. Both end up costing almost identical prices but I'm not sure that would benefit me more? I use my pc for a lot of content production and also gaming. Below are the programs I use and corresponding RAM usage if applicable (Currently have 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz 7-7-7-21. FL Studio 12 Pro: ~7000MB Minecraft (Modded): ~12000MB After Effects: 15500MB (This is my main concern) Misc Games + SLOBS: ~12500MB Either option would be a massive increase over my Haswell Xeon and better than the slow 16GB that I use right now. I'm not really interested in anything that intel has provided as options, mainly because of the lack of HT but also cost differences here in Australia. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/SkippyAU/saved/#view=R9y3t6
  5. In December this year, I want to upgrade my pc as its getting a little old and slow. Load times aren't great and my Vega 64 is really the only thing that isn't almost 5 years old. I mostly play games at 2560x1080 75hz but also do lots of work in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Fl Studio 12 and stream to Twitch.tv. My current rig is just average at everything. It will get the job done and play most games at 75fps but I can't do things like watch youtube and play Battlefield 1 without the CPU hitting 100% usage. Below is a list which includes the parts i will by carrying over to the new system and the parts I'm thinking of getting. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/SkippyAU/saved/#view=R9y3t6 The current parts that I want to replace are: CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 (4C8T 3.4Ghz) RAM: Team Dark 2x8GB DDR3 1600Mhz MOBO: Asrock B85 Pro3 CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Nepton 240m Could anyone suggest any changes to the pc part picker list? Also, my budget is $1300 AUD <---- Strictly AUD so please make sure that you don't find parts that are $1300USD or another currency.
  6. My Vega 64 LC frequently hits really high temps (60c-65c) when being used for extended periods of time so could anyone recommend a good fan (push and pull setup) to replace the stock single one. I don't really care about noise too much so I just need to know what things I should be looking for. Idk if I should be getting ones with high CFM or air pressure.
  7. I've had an AIO cooled Vega 64 for a few months now and have infrequently seen crashes in games when settings are cranked too high. Especially now this issue is prevalent because I have overclocked my LG 25um58-p to 75Hz. When I use V-Sync so FPS can't go past 75, the GPU crashes after playing for a few minutes under high load. This issue is most common on Forza Horizon 4 at 1440p with everything maxed. FPS is non stop at 75 with no dips and the GPU activity hovers between 70%-100% with the temp at 45c-55c at 2500rpm. The fan profile is the only setting i have changed in the AMD Radeon Settings. Does anyone know a fix? I know its not my PSU because the issue is identical on my 550w PSU (current one is 850W) and my Xeon E3-1231 V3 barley gets past 30c under full load on a CoolerMaster Nepton 240m?
  8. My Focusrite Solo does not have an enchantments tab in the playback settings, id like to put the setting on where it cuts out the background noise when im not talking for my stream but the tab does not even show up
  9. i could run Ultra 2560x1080 73FPS and then one update later Minimum 2560x1080 30FPS
  10. I just had a tiny 500MB update to pubg which seems to have added this plane map thing but now my game runs like a slideshow, my pc is running below 60% usage which is normal? Whats wrong
  11. Below is a MS.Paint drawing of my Audio setup right now. I have no software doing anything to my headphones, just the amp, any improvements you could suggest?
  12. Setup looks nice but i don't like the PC, case looks really cheap, and colors don't match but still, probs good performance
