  1. HyperX is generally the best option, I am looking into either the Alpha or Revolver.
  2. Still a whole lot better than Intel UHD graphics 630 and GT 1030, which can run most games at decent settings. You should be fine, but I would upgrade to something like a 1050 TI if you are on a budget. I would wait for the 20xx series to come out though. Also Nvidia said that GPU prices will rise until Q3.
  3. I am using my hard drive from my old pc, and it worked fine on there. Should I still reinstall? Edit: How big of a usb do I need for a reinstall?
  4. I did install them, but will try reinstalling. Will update Edit: When I run the drivers I blue screen. Safe mode works, but then it brings me into a blue screen loop when it reboots. I had to diagnose the issue and safe boot. Then I ran DDU for intel drivers. Issue isn't fixed, but at least the pc works.
  5. I recently built a system with a 1060 6gb, which is faulty (currently running on intel hd graphics) an i5 8600k, and an msi z370-a pro. I am getting 10 fps max in most games. The only game that is "playable" is stardew valley, with a solid 25 fps. I can't even start minecraft up. What component would be at fault, and is there a way I can fix this?
  6. I think that my issue is nvidia display driver service is missing.
  7. Same thing. I can see it, but nothing happens when I click it
  8. I can get to this, how do you get to the all control panel icons. Thanks for the help
  9. How do you get to this menu? I thought this hasnt been a thing since win7
  10. Like the one on windows 10? I can't get into the Nvidia one.
  11. I have the Nvidia control panel in the bottom right in info overflow. When I try opening it nothing happens. I have tried clean installs several times, and have used DDU. What should I do?
  12. Thanks for the reply! I hope you like the forum
  13. I didn't even realize this was a thing until after I posted this. Only did a few minutes of research. I think I will probably go with the alpha.
  14. I'm in the market for new headphones around the 100$ price range. What is the better buy?
  15. I'd love to see it able to be upgraded by the end user, and throw in a full size gpu.
  16. Assuming that he is playing minecraft, the cpu > gpu
  17. I looked into this a bit more, and testing with PUBG on UserBenchmark and the gpu I have the i5 is a bit better. The i7 gives an average of 70.9 fps with 36 samples The i5 gives an average of 84.5 fps, but with only 12 samples.
  18. yes, but the 8600k has 6 CORES which is more important for gaming
  19. I've been told on reddit, and it makes sense that the 8600k is faster than the i7. Which is better, and why do so many people use the i7?
  20. I need to use a 1150 motherboard because I'm doing a build with a fourth gen i7, and I'm upgrading it's motherboard. All of the atx boards are sold out, aside from some 400 dollar board and another older one. Are miners using them or something?
