what do you suggest getting for a cpu with the gtx 1070 ti?

So the computer will have an i5 8400, gtx 1070 ti, 16gb ram (2x8).I'm not thinking about overclocking but I'm indecisive about getting the Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING or ASROCK Z370 EXTREME4 or should i get any other board? Any suggestions?

I will build a new computer but i'm not sure which psu to buy or power is enough for my PC. The build will have a gtx 1070 ti, i5 5400, 16gb ram (2x8), a SSD and a HDD and the motherboard is an Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING Is 800w enough or too much?

I'm thinking of changing motherboard and cpu but is there anything i need to look into with compatibility e.g. ram and gpu, and do i need to upgrade drivers before installing them?
