  1. Never mind! I just discovered that it indeed does have a 3.0 internal header, however Asus dont list the board as having one!
  2. Hi there! I am wondering if anybody makes a sort of adaptor or cable that can change an internal usb 3.1 header to a 3.0 so that i would be able to use my front panel io? The motherboard is an Asus z370 ROG Strix E and the case is an NZXT S340 Elite. Thanks!!!
  3. Hi there! I was wondering if the light from a 140mm corsair LL fan would be able to be seen through the radiator of an AIO such as the NZXT X62. I have to install them on the other side of the radiator as has to be done with the X62 in the NZXT S340 Elite case. The 140mm fans are installed in a position as to where the actual rgb part of the fan is hidden behind the rad ^ So would it be worth getting the fans for the rgb? Or are there better alternatives that would either yield better results in cooling or give off more light? Thanks again!
  4. Watching it now! Thank you so much!
  5. Alright! Thank you both so much! And trust me, moving to this case will still be a million times better than my last cast, even if my poor GPU is a little warmer! :3
  6. Hey there! Just got an NZXT S340 Elite case for my birthday and i can't figure out what the optimized fan directions would be for it! I'll be using an NZXT x62 with 140 mm fans and of course the two additional 120 mm case fans. Would having the intake only pass through the hot radiator really heat up my Asus 1080ti ROG Strix OC? And any other components in there besides? I'll be changing the stock fans out for the Corsair LL120s and LL140s, gotta live that RGB life. I'd just like to know which fans should be intake and which should be exhaust to give my case optimum cooling! Thanks so much!!! You guys are the best!
  7. But will the pc recognise that it has two fans on the one header or will it think of them as the same? I need to plug in a 1080 ti Strix OC, two 120mm corsair rgb and two 140mm corsair rgb fans, and an nzxt kraken x52, that's just the bare minimum
  8. Hi there, I'm sort of concerned about a new pc that I am waiting on one last part for to start building (hopefully the last anyway!) and I just realised that the four rgb fans that I have aswell as the rgb gpu, and (not really necessary) two more rgb strips won't be able to fit on my z370E rog strix motherboard, which only has two conventional rgb headers, I'm trying to keep my whole build aura sync-able just to give it that perfect rgb flow. This is the first time I've done a PC with more than two rgb parts and I was wondering if there were any special adapters for these rgb headers? Thank you so much!!!
  9. I'm sure you're right, and even if the next gen cards come out it'll be like the 980 Ti almost equaling the 1080, therefore making it quite near the top until the Ti versions of THOSE cards come out. I'm sure i'll be ready for an upgrade by then, thanks!!
  10. I have someone offering me two unopened 1080 Ti's of the ROG STRIX variety But i'm worried that in two months it'll become old news thanks to the new Volta tech
  11. First of all, that i7 isnt really worth using in, what i'm guessing is, a desktop build, the current i7s are far more powerful than their mobile counterparts. Second of all, in 99.9% of all laptops the cpu is permanently attached to the motherboard and cant be removed. If you wanted to get a decent i7 maybe go for the 7700k
  12. Hey there, i'm just wondering as to wether or not there's been much news on the next generation of NVIDIA's gaming gpus? I havent been able to find much, but i'm not really so good at researching that stuff. I really want to know if it's worth waiting to add them in a new personal build
  13. https://www.asus.com/ie/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z370-E-GAMING/ <--- Easily one of the best boards for it's price, and it comes with some sweet rgb as a bonus
  14. Both builds are great but i personally would prefer the AMD processor. That psu is way overkill for those parts but they will easily do what you need. I'm not sure an m.2 drive is such a good thing to have when you can get a decent ssd that's twice if not four times the size for the same price
