As you may see from the title i would like to know if opening my rog scar iii and adding additional storage would void my warranty or not? There is an extra bay thats open for additional storage inside and on the box of the laptop they've included an sshd ribbon cable and a couple of screws to hold the extra storage together. I've asked the retailer and they said "It usually wont void the warranty" but the way he said it is why i dont fully trust it. I live in Australia:) thanks!

Approx total mem is 6092. Isn't a 960 only 4gb? I'm kinda new to this stuff so I need clarifications ?
