  1. I have an FX 8120 in an asrock 970 extreme 4 cooled by an Arctic Freezer 13. For the GPU I'm rocking an r9 270. I've got 8 gb of g.skill 1600mhz ram and plenty of storage. I've got around 100 bucks to spare and wondered, what should I upgrade? Currently I'm guessing my best bet is an SSD. If you have any SSDs to recommend please do.
  2. So I know everyone's been worshipping the 840 Evo but a new contender has come, which is the plextor m6s. I have seen great reviews on it and was wondering which was better. Also, the the hyperx 3k any good?Cause a few months back linus made a video on ncix with it showing some pretty sweet benchmarks. Please discuss as you want.
  3. So I'll be upgrading to an SSD soon, it's just I don't know which. I'm looking for a 120gb SSD that will run my os and do some gaming. Currently looking at either the samsung 840 evo or the plextor m6s
  4. will do, Thank you, friends!
  5. I'm gonna be upgrading my case and psu soon and I still have some cash to spare. I was wondering whether I should upgrade my g.skill sniper to the hyperx fury or get an ssd.
  6. I have the newest drivers etc. Currently been playing a lot of Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod. Getting about 20-35 fps on high settings at 1080p. Bioshock infinite has a bit of stuttering too.
  7. I just upgraded my hd 7770 to an asus dc2 r9 270. I have an fx 8120, 8gb of ram and asrock 970 extreme 4 holding it all together. But for some reason I'm getting crappy fps.
  8. They don't have the 280 where i go to. And shipping from amazon is too expensive for me
  9. that'd be out of my budget. The best I can do is the dual x
  10. So i know the 280x is better than the 270x but the toxic gets great temperature readings. So I was wondering if I could just overclock the 270x high enough to match the performance of the 280x. If I went with the 280x it would be a hundred bucks more and i would be blowing off all of my money on it. I was thinking if i went with the toxic i could use the extra cash to save up for a cpu or ssd. Plus the toxic just has more gamer bling with the light up LEDs. What are your thoughts and suggestions and if possible please list the pros and cons of each card
  11. Hey, I already have a sapphire vapor-x hd 7770 and i was wondering if i should upgrade to a r9 270 or save some money and just get another hd 7770 and crossfire. Any help or suggestions?
  12. Hey guys, I'm gonna upgrade my gpu. But I can't decide on whether to get sli gtx 760s or 1 gtx 780. Both will cost the same price. With sli, I'd be able to get performance on par or better than a titan. But should I invest in a 780 instead for 4k gaming in the future? I'm thinking maybe it's be some time till 4k moniters will be affordable and by then i'd upgrade my gpu again. But now with dell coming up with a $699 moniter. I'm not too sure. So what do you guys think?
  13. Thanks Marceline. Never knew you were into hardware
  14. I'm working with around a 500 dollar budget. So It's either the evga gtx 780 or sli 760s. I know sli 760s has the same performance as a titan. But investing in something supporting 4k is important as well. What's the best way to do this?
