why is everyone so offtopic i just want suggestions for a quiet but also nicely cooled gtx 1070ti or better 1080 the build wuality should be good i dont really like the msi gaming x because of aesthetics.

tbf i dont mind if its overkill or not i just want a gpu which is quiet in idle not to loud while playing games and has good overall cooling and i for sure want a 1070ti / 1080 i just dont knw which of the custom 1070tis or 1080s is the best choice in that regard

Well since i already have the 1070ti i dont want to go lower with performance and aesthetics well i just dont want the card to be completly red etc. thats it im just unsure about noise

prob. 4k thats why im.planing on getting a 1080 im just not sure because of the look of the gpu in my build (especially with precolored gpus) since its mx first build i kimda want it to look good aswell but on the other hand i just dont want it to be loud in idle and not to loud while playing games in 4k or so

Ryzen 5 1600x im currently only having 1 full hd 16:9 display and one 4:3 but im going to update sooner or later to something bigger.

yea i did still doesnt work. i know for sure that zotac for some reason set the fan minimum speed to 40%

well i dont actually know where you live but prices here in germany arent to bad at the moment. prices for a 1070 ti are still between 450-550 and since i can still send that gpu back without to many problems.. dunno

well they fixed it to atleast 40% on the 1070ti for some weird reason

i did build it recently the prices werent to bad tho. the gtx 1070ti did cost me around 490

Hey, im currently a happy owner of my new computer build (also my first one) ive choosen the zotac 1070ti amp extreme graphicscard . after installing everything and using it for a few days im slightly annoyed by the noise. since you cant set the fans under 40% in idle with custom fan curves. so im considering sending that gpu back and getting a different 1070ti or even a 1080. do you guys have any suggestions? i dont really want a graphics card thats already colored in some way since i like changing around the few leds in my case im mot even sure if im just overreacting but i just dont really want my gpu to be that noisy while in idle.
