  1. I have an unused 140mm fan mount., is there any way I could do something stupid, like say... Mounting all four 70mm to that? I'd need a mount of some sort, they don't fit on their own.
  2. @Jurrunio The rubber band idea helped immensely, the fan is free from its scrap aluminum prison. On the other hand, I'm using a Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7 and I'm unsure I'd be able to use the fans for vrm cooling past the shroud.

    Fan Questions

Alright, I have a few here. The first is about a cpu cooler fan that I would like to get out, but tow of the screws are stripped and I can't see a way to remove them without breaking the screw holes. Does anyone have a suggestion for getting them out? it's useless the way it is because I have no use for this cooler anymore. The other thing I wanted to ask about is old fans. I have a bunch of old fans lying around from a broken laptop cooler I tore up. from that and a few old desktops, I have 4 70mm fans and 2 80mm fans with no way to mount either in my Corsair 300R, which only has 120mm and 140mm mounts. Does anyone know of a good way to make use of these fans?
  4. Any suggestions on a receiver that could take in all five inputs? I know the consoles can all run component if absolutely necessary, but the PC cannot.
  5. Would it be worth while to re-purpose my family's old Vista Desktop as a NAS for the house, or would using my personal computer be more viable? If it's better to use my personal rig, what should I even do with this old pile of junk?
  6. So I have this issue with monitors: I don't have them. I have a terrible Samsung 19in monitor that only has a VGA input, and a TV that has one set of component and one HDMI. I have a PC with one HDMI, one DisplayPort, and one thunderbolt. I have an XBOX 360, a PS3, a GameCube, a PS2, and an HDMI Cable box. At the moment, the PC is connected to the monitor by a VGA-HDMI adapter, the PS3, XBOX 360, and another computer are connected to the TV by this: http://a.co/ht3OdyK (which is taped to the wall), and the Gamecube and PS2 are connected to the TV by this: http://a.co/8kig6ES (which doesn't work). Is there any remotely feasible way to have all of them connected such that I don't have to constantly swap cords? Will the PC still be connected to both the TV and the monitor? (It's connected to the monitor atm) If possible, is there any way to allow the consoles to stream to twitch?
  7. 502 is great, and the multiple saved macro setups are incredibly useful, as long as you don't bump the set switching button.
  8. So recently, my G930s have kicked the bucket. the hinge on the left side has broken and been glued back together too many times, and now the headphones are unwearable. If anyone has a tip for that, it'd be appreciated. In the meantime, I have an old pair of G230s that work fine, except that the cord is screwed up near that stupid volume controller. Would it be reasonably possible to replace the cord for them with a new one, and if so, how would I go about doing that? I have a set of basic tools and a soldering kit if needed.
