Hi Pixel,
I completely agree with you about the 4K and to be honest with you after paying a small fortune for the Swift which like you said isn't 4K ready I wasn't intending to use the side monitors for anything higher than 2540x1440. The only reason I chose the PB287Q was because I wanted an Asus so it kinda looked like the Swift, was wall mountable and supported 2540x1440. As for buying cheap 1080p monitors, I have one of those that I used to use with my Swift before and found that the 2 different resolutions used to drive me insane. Maybe I wasn't setting it up properly but I used to find that I was constantly changing the size of windows when I opened programs.
Like I said I have a second monitor but the 2 resolutions are different, if I could find a way to get them to work together in harmony I wouldn't bother forking out for a new one! The only reason I was going to get 3 was because I kinda thought, 'fuck it, if I’m buying one monitor why not buy a second and have 3.' I'm a sucker for buying tech!
Tbh with you I don't wanna be messing around with settings, I’d rather just sit down and game without any hassle so if it is as annoying as you say then I may have just dodged a bullet!!
Thanks a lot!
