-
Thanks a lot man! I really appreciate the help. Its fine i dont plan on painting the buttons, so tht should be fine.

oh wow thanks man! sorry for the trouble oh btw using it was a portrait monitor now. Pretty happy i could make it work on the stock stand.

can u tell me how? do i just pry it open with a flat-head screwdriver? nd does it pop back onto the monitor after removal? I'm worried it is held on by only adhesive. In which case i may not be able to put it back on properly. Thanks

Right so i have this silver bezelled 19" Dell monitor. I hate the colour of the bezel and it really bothers me, coz i have 2 other black bezelled panels nd the silver just stand out. I really dont feel confident taking the monitor apart to remove the bezel and paint it separately. Its really old and there is no such documentaion of it online. So i dont know if it'll survive if i open it up Is it ok to tape over my screen and monitor buttons using masking tape. If i do it perfectly. Can i just spray paint over the bezel. Is it safe? Will the monitor work properly after? this is the one, if that matters

Well ok guys i'll have about $400 to spend soon. Was originally planning to get a PS4 earlier. But i dont think i can quite let myself go through that. so this is my setup right now I have essentially a mismatched dual monitor setup with an auxiliary monitor. I was originally gonna ask my parents for another $400 and go for the LG 34um95. But after hearing abt all the backlight bleed issues with the monitor i dont think i can go for such an expensive upgrade right now, also considering i'm moving to another country in about 1 year, so i'd hate to travel with it or part with it so soon. I may end up going for the the Acer xb270hu instead which is $750 right now, that would be a better option for gaming. But i wanted the big screen 21:9 experience which would be great for movies also, but the better 34" monitors out there are too expensive for now. But i wanted to ask u guys for anything else i can get for about $400 that would improve my gaming experience , preferably PC gaming hardware of course. I'd prefer keeping it at about $400 though(monitors being an exception i guess). My specs are mentioned in the description. PS - I'm not a triple monitor guy, so i wouldnt go a 3rd 1080p monitor

Right so guys sorry for the long title but it says it all. I tried running 4 instances of Borderlands PreSequel for some splitscreen gameplay on my PC. Using Splitscreen PC Tool. Download link: http://splitplaypc.codeplex.com/ I played a lot of 2 players splitscreen with my friend with no issues. When 4 instances are running, the Cpu usage stays at 98-100% at ~44C temp. Ram usage stays at aroun 6.2gb, with Gpu running as normal (1gb Vram usage, nothing abnormal of note). The cpu is running at its stock 3.6-3.9Ghz speed, with no overclocks, cooled by a corsair H80. Temps looks ok, but not sure about that cpu usage. While the games are opening, i get an audio stutter/loop (which i found out is related to the cpu usage spike), but after they all open up I dont get it. System Specs: CPU: i7 3820 Ram: 16gb GPU: GTX 780ti Mobo: Asus sabertooth x79 PSU: Corsair rm750 Those r the essentials i guess Is it advisable to run the 4 instances under such load?

Your a good man. Merry Christmas

Well u will have to learn the combat mechanics of the game, timing of enemy attacks etc. If u get good at predicting these things right the game is a breeze. The game is a lot of fun because of its precise and accurate combat mechanics. It poses a challenge as well which very few games do nowadays. You should try it. You will get a hang of the games difficulty in a hour or two. Just give it a try.

So i just connected a 2nd monitor (my dad's monitor) to my setup and have been using it for a while. Loving the dual monitor setup so far. It makes multi-tasking much easier. So now i can watch a stream, or anything else. while gaming. But while recording gameplay, shadowplay records the game audio with the audio of the stream (or whatever else is playing on the secondary monitor). My question is - Is there a way to make shadowplay record only the game audio, OR to seperate the stream audio from the recorded video after recording. I use shadowplay because the performance hit is minimal. But am open to suggestion that work as well as shadowplay. Thanks.
