  1. AMD will be the smarter choice indeed. I'm in South Africa and 1USD=+-8ZAR. So I went AMD because it's much cheaper. Got the 7770. Works great. Intel is just way to expensive.
  2. Okay. Thanks, good to know.
  3. Isn't gigabit switch speeds up to 1000 Megabytes per second?
  4. When you’re looking at resolutions and prize based restrictions, I'd say go for the 21.5" monitors. They have great resolutions and its not to small.... I like Samsung monitors and I will not recommend anything else, even thou there is allot of other great monitors out there. I'd also recommend you go with a LED Backlit LCD monitor, it will last longer. The one I'm looking at is the Samsung Black 21.5" Series 1 LED Backlit LCD. It’s a great monitor at a great price.
  5. <--- It’s my name. I use RoughNeck in games, if it’s not available I just remove the "o", RughNeck.... In school I used my favorite Dino, RAPTOR, which usually was taken, so I went with the sound of the word...RAPTER. I just thought it was time for a change and my Family and friends call me a "Rowe Bliksem (In Afrikaans)†Rough Neck (In English). That’s why I use it.
  6. I think that should push it down to High graphics. Should still be a great experiance when playing. Will be posting pictures soon,,,,
  7. @WiRoz: I undertand what you are getting at. But my build isn't done yet. Working but not done. I'm going for dual GPU's, witch means that the PSU isn't a overkill. With motherboard standards, I like dual PCI-e X16. And this board did the best in my budget regarding that. I'm a huge ASUS fan and don't really want anything els in my built. The Dual HD7770's will do great I think. I'm not that hectic of a gamer so it will do fine for years to come. @Nicholas Marzio: I'll get the game and test it. Thanks, didn't think of crysis 3. Will let you know what it does. Guys, like I said, its not the best build out there and I'm not aiming for INSANE graphics. But that what I have tested seemed to be running well on ultra-high graphics. Hope this clears all your doubts.
  8. My monitors max is 1600X900. That's what I'm playing it at. I'm happy with what I can do with my PC.
  9. Bought my copy today. Saved me some ching.... Although I don't know if using windows 8 at this moment is a good Idea....
  10. DO you have a game for me that will knock it lower? I haven’t found one yet. Medal of Honor Warfighter gives me 30-40 FPS on ultra-high. It’s more than playable.
  11. Hi guys. This build isn't the best build for gaming, and I don't need to be reminded of that. But for the gamming I do it is more than sufficient and is playing all the current and new games on ultra-high settings. First off, I'm a budget builder. I like building good PC's with a limited amount of cash. What I have in my build at the moment is: Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 CPU: AMD FX4100 (For Now) RAM: Kingston HyperX 1600MHz 2X4Gb GPU: ASUS HD7770-2GD5 PSU: 800W Gigabyte Odin HDD: 3X1.5Tb Seagate SATA2.0(Nothing Special yet) Case: Cooler Master CM690 This rig is not complete yet and I will be posting the complete rig at a later stage. I will also post some pictures of the current rig and when upgrades come in.
