i work with sound on ablton live and for me 4 cores is like.. optimal. and 8cores is total overkill beside that video editing in adobe programs premiere and AE also cinema 4D and 3Ds max but mostly blender now days.. i save my project on a seprate server and i have some spare ssd's and thank you about the memory note that's not actualy the one i choose but knowing you are knowing what you are talking about made me appreciate you even more now to be more clear i just think the threadripper is overkilling all of the programs i'v mentioned even if runing in peralel and please tell me that i'm wrong
