  1. Funny enough that i thought about that but i was looking for a more sleek option so it wont look like shit lmao
  2. So I tested my theory about the bad airflow this case has yesterday and today. First I had a lot of dust thinking my 3 Intake and 3 Exhaust generate negative airflow because I had a huge dust build up to the point where I wondered how my CPU stayed at 50°C. I tested my theory with smoke and to my surprise it pulled the smoke in from my 2 top exhaust fans, like to its sides. I further tested how much air comes out of the top 2 fans and also wanted to kinda battle the dust. So i put a thin filter mat nothing too dense its meant for my fan in the bathroom (since i got no window there) I saw there was almost no air coming out the sheet / filter mat is really light so it should fly fairly high up but it didnt. I figured due to its "stupid" design of for the front side (location for the intake fans) it isnt pulling enough air to have a good airflow. I pulled of my front panel and to my surprise (who would have thought) The filter mat / sheet literally flew away from the top because there was so much more air coming through, this also fixed the negative airflow. Now I am sitting here wondering does anybody know if there is any aftermarket filter that fits to the front of the Carbide 270R. Its currently open and pulls dust in, which i can live with for now. I tried putting the filter mat there but due to it being so light It gets dragged onto the fans. Its not dragged in but on it so i can hear it like scraping on the filter. I am thinking about solutions but i cant seem to find anything.
  3. Doesnt fit since I am using a Zotac 1070 mini. Otherwise i would have bought it already
  4. How long does it take to really affect to stop cooling. So the situation would be like this : I would use an EK Fluid Gaming A240 water cooling kit. (https://www.ekfluidgaming.com/ek-kit-a240) It is full on aluminium. But I would also like to water cool my GPU with it on a budget. So I either use a universal water block for the GPU because I am using a 1070 Mini an there are no blocks for it. The other option to not even have any galvanic corrosion is to use a universal gpu water block out of aluminium but I havent been able to find any block of that sort. The main reason for this is because I dont have a 450€ budget. The aluminium kit would be perfect its 170€ and for a copper gpu block it would be another idk 30-50€ and i would be done for some time i guess but someday i need to throw most of the stuff away because of galvanic corrosion so yeah. Mainly the 2 question out of this are : How long does it take to really affect to stop cooling? and Are there any universal water blocks for my 1070 mini but with aluminium?
  5. Hello, I thought about custom cooling my PC. The specs aren't that insane that they need water cooling if I upgrade my system in the past i already have an loop. Since I don't have that much money lying around I made some research. I stopped at a Video from JazyTwoCents "How to expand an AIO Water Cooler". I am using a 1070 Mini and an Ryzen 5 2600 so the AIO covers up the CPU and for the GPU I need to go with a cheap universal block. He says in the video that you need a coolant that has some anti corrosion in it. Is all of this worth the money and the hustle or am I going to regret this with trying. sadly like i said I don't have enough money to buy a full on custom loop for 450€ from EK also sadly i wasnt able to find cheaper solutions.
  6. I am fine with soft tubing it's easier to replace and add stuff if i ever do that. Also it doesnt have to look that pretty but i am going to add LED to the case so it also shouldnt look shitty
  7. Oh forgot to include it Both would be the best option
  8. Can anybody help me to find some parts for a custom loop. I am new to water cooling and werent able to find matching parts for my specs. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 MSI X470 Gaming Plus GTX 1070 Mini (Zotac) Case : Corsair 270R The best would be if its as cheap as possible but good and reliable.
  9. Is there a cheap setup to do this maybe even CPU + GPU. I wasn't able to find any block that is for the Zotac 1070 Mini. Can anybody help me with that? Maybe even parts for a whole loop that isnt too expensive. CPU Socket = AM4
  10. Hello, so i wanted to upgrade my very old system. I currently have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4, i wanted to upgrade to a Xeon X5450 Mod from my E6750. But i wanted to put 8GB of RAM in there, so i went to ebay and only found M378T5663QZ3-CF7 from Samsung. Gigabyte only supports M378T5663AZ3-CE6 (as 2GB stick) is it possible that the Mobo inofficially support the M378T5663QZ3-CF7 or not?
  11. Around my place there is nothing like craiglist, thats why im going for ebay most of the time.
  12. i want to stay in the GPU range of 180 something around there. I dont have any exact budget (thats kinda strange yes) i want something like an i7 something like 4770k a cheap mobo to overclock it and 16gb of ram
  13. Hello, so first i want to say that i'm planning to do a new build for myself. I'm from Germany so US links won't help that much. I would love if you guys can send EU links. Okay lets get to my plan : As you can see in the title, I want to build a budget gaming PC. I want to save as much money as possible, so i would go for used Parts. I already found a 780 TI which basically is a 1060. Now to my plan i want to ask you guys what you think about the plan and if you could give me some ideas of used parts, something like a used i7. I want to stay in Budget as much as possible. I dont have a budget like 1000€ or 500€ The 780 TI would go for 180€ and i want to stay in this price range. The used i7 should be as cheap as possible but as good as possible. I hope you kinda understand the plan.
