  1. Hey guys, i got a small but kinda annoying issue. I noticed my USB connections have timeouts arount a few milliseconds unregularly. The common peripherals like keyboard/ mouse dont even notice this, or at least i didnt noticed it. But my USB audio interface shortly looses its connections as shown by a turned of status led (like a fraction of a second) and an laggy audio in this time. I wonder if you got ideas if it more likely to be mainboard related or on the psu side. Or if there are easier possibilities like a usb connection test tool (if it exists) to log data packages to determine if it really is a timeout or voltage spike or smthing like that. 2. I want to seperate simple programs and my games to save all of the GPU ressources of the 1060 to the games. And if a video is playing on my second screen, i want it to leave the 1060 to whatever i am playing.
  3. Hey guys, since a little while i am trying to use my old an now second gpu to release some stress from my main gpu. One of my ideas was, to tell e.g. firefox to use the second gpu for video decoding etc. But this seems to be impossible, because my NVIDIA Settings seem to be to limited for this task and windows as well. ------- Hardware: GTX 1060 GTX 950 ("secondary GPU") OS: Win 10
  4. Hey guys, i recently tried to setup a streaming computer. It is actually my old gaming pc and i thought i could use it for this purpose. The idea was to stream a 1080p 30fps stream from my and another pc to the streaming pc. On the streaming pc there are also two webcams connected at 720p. I use OBS with the OBS-NDI plugin on all three computers. Although they are connected via gigabit and not a single gpu, nor cpu nor ethernet card is exhausted. The NDI stream is stuttering every couple of seconds and sometimes the framerate drops to about 10 fps. Do you have any idea what could be the bottleneck here? The current bandwith of the streaming pc is around 30MB/s input.
