  1. Title says it all, wondering if it is possible as i am planning to buy a freesync monitor because it is way cheaper than a g-sync monitor.
  2. Hello good people of LTT, I would like to have some input on what i should buy, save up for the 144hz? or just buy the 60hz 1ms monitor (both are 24") I mostly play Witcher and GTA, and for FPS games i only play PUBG as of now. I currently have a 60hz 6ms monitor and just by playing witcher 3, the screen tearing is already noticeable. any reply is appreciated! Thanks!
  3. time for me to search the forums for the best custom fan curve regarding my setup. Thanks for the response!
  4. Thanks for the reply guys! I forgot to mention i only play 4-6 hours a day since i have a day job.
  5. Hello, I am wondering if setting the gpu fan to 100% ONLY while gaming is a good idea to regulate temperature ( will set back to auto when browsing or idle ). I have a GALAX 1060 6gb, mostly play witcher 3 and PUBG, my temp ranges from 72-78 while the fan is on auto. Any reply is very appreciated!
  6. yeah, my other choice is the i5 8400 but I'm worried about the future of the motherboard available now since there's a chance the 9th gen CPUs won't be compatible with the 300 series, but with the AM4 i can still use it for future Ryzen CPUs ( until 2020 ).
  7. Thank you! Yes and since I live in the Philippines I am expecting a few extra months until it will be locally available here(with shop warranty). I'm planning on buying the 1600 and just invest on a great AM4 motherboard ( any recommendations? ) that will be compatible with future AMD CPUs, until 2020 anyway since AMD confirmed this already.
  8. AMD's CES Tech day just concluded and new CPUs are confirmed to launch on April 2018, should I wait for the new CPUs to come out or should I just buy the available Ryzen CPUs today?
