  1. ^ The server to my main pc on the SSD ^ The server to my main pc on the HDD * I saw a few dips on the HDD transfer. The SSD kept a steady flow of 100 MB/s. If I had a 10GbE SFP NIC to test with, I might have gotten higher~ish number with my SSD transfer test. ^This is on my server machine transferring from RAID 6 array to my SSD (HP M700). ^ Most of the movies are around 16 GB in size.
  2. I like to live life to the edge.. yeah, I need a battery unit for my Raid Controller
  3. When I was transfer files off my main computer to the server via ethernet cable, I was getting ~100 MB/s. HDD TO RAID 6. I will also test it the other way around as well. Is there any other test that I should do?
  4. ^ Old RAID 6 Speed ^ New RAID 6 Setting ^New RAID 6 Speed
  5. "The MegaRAID® SAS 9266-8i 6Gb/s SATA and SAS RAID controller card"
  6. For Plex, Backup, and FTP Server Reasonable Would UnRaid cache be better then storage space SSD Tier
  7. Do you how many SSDs that I can add to the array?
  8. Is it free with the hardware or do I need to pay for it?
  9. So I have the MegaRAID 9266-8i with 8 x 4TB WD Red drive in Raid 6. I am planning to get a SAS Expander to add more drives. I also want to speed up my raid array with an SSD cache, how would I accomplish this?
