Hello, I'm trying to buy a new power supply and wondering if to get the Corsair RM850x or RM850i, both are about the same in price on amazon as of now and am not sure which one to get. RM850x: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B71JV8T RM850i: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00YPQNES0 Also should I run in multi or single 12v rail?

if 2 people of exactly the same skill 1v1d, one with an RTX 2060 and one with an RTX 2080 Ti, both getting constant 240 fps capped, would there be a noticeable disadvantage being on the 2060? asking because i've been arguing with some kid for like an hour and want to prove him wrong

Hey, my friend is looking to buy a pc for around £700 that can run fortnite (on low settings) at a stable 144+ fps. I have put together a pc, but I'm not too experienced in building and choosing parts (only done my own pc build before) so here are the parts I have chosen, if you think you could improve it somehow or if there are any compatibility issues then let me know! Will 24 GB RaM cause issues?
El3ctro man 592 replied to El3ctro man 592's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Ok thank you, I am buying the exact same but with 2 x 8 GB instead of 2 x 4 GB so it shouls work perfectly -
I originally bought 8 GB RAM when I could have got 16 GB for slightly cheaper... yes ik im stupid. After dealing with 8 GB for a while, I have decided I need more RAM and I am going to buy the 16 GB set but here's my question: Should I leave my 2 x 4GB Sticks in and add 2 x 8 GB sticks in and have a total of 24 GB RAM or should i take out the 2 x 4 GB set and only have 16 GB. I'm just wondering if 24 GB RAM (2 x 4 GB + 2 x 8 GB) will cause compatibility issues or any other problems. You can see my full PC specs on my profile.

well if that's the case how would i fix the crashing? Because every time it crashed i opened Task Manager and it said something like too much ram is being used, close some of these programs to free up some space

I'm broke so I can't really afford more RAM but I didn't have a problem before so I should be able to revert it somehow
