receding hairline

Thanks for the answers ive decided to put a cablemod rgb strip under the plastic shroud, cover it up with something under (so that the light only comes out of the holes on the shroud) and connect the strip to a rgb header on an asus motherboard (the cable wont be seen as i will mount the gpu vertically)

I was going to buy a msi gtx 1070 ti titanium and i was wondering if it were possible to replace the leds on the fan side with rgb strips(on the under side of the plastic) to connect it to aura sync, corsair link or something else. Thanks in advance
