  1. Hey, its Aug 2020 and my 3600 is just as the one in this thread hot like that and at 1.3V idle. I have the latest drivers and bios provided by ASUS ( I have the ROG Strix B450). Any help? Also I have thermal grizzly Kryonaut because I thought that could be a problem.
  2. Switching cooler or CPU... That's the only time i've seen Youtuber's do it. But on the flip side, I dont recall seing a youtuber pull off the cooler and then apply the same one again.
  3. Do I need to reapply thermal paste when I take the cooler off? since i only flipped it I thought it was fine. I had no Idea I had to redo it when you take it off.
  4. its the pre-applied one. it is covering the whole thing. But I wonder weather it is too thin or have a flat spot where my fingerprint might be. How thick does it need to be because its some by the sides of the cpu.
  5. Forgot to say, but when my CPU hits 70 degrees, my mobo puts all fans to max rpm for a short time. That's why its extra annoying. I don't like watching a movie with a jet engine of a PC right next to me.
  6. the big spike to 70 degrees Celsius was when I opened chrome... I bought the BeQuiet pure rock cooler to make my system quiter, which it did. Then I wanted to seat the cooler upside down (i have a case that puts the motherboard upside down so this puts its so the bequiet logo is the right way up) so I took it off, flipped it, realised it could not fit upside down, seated it back like it should be and now my temps are high af again. The thing is though that I think that the thermal paste got "scraped off" a little when I tried to take the cooler off(the cooler was sticky to the cpu by the pre-applied thermal paste so I had to twist it and drag it which wasn't optimal. Also my finger touched the cpu cooler and left a small fingerprint. Could the problem be that the thermal paste is now too thin and that's why the temps are so unstable? If so, is it a bad idea to go with the Thermal grizzly thermal pad. I hate thermal compound because of its stickiness and it gets everywhere and i could reuse my thermal pad when I upgrade in a couple of years. (i just want quietness with base performance)
  7. UPDATE: Ive upgraded to a Seasonic Focus GX 650. But i still get the bug! SUPER ANNOYED! I'm going after Mobo next... Edit: Also no info from windows...
  8. OK this could be huge. I just realized that when I changed the fan speed on my ASUS Fan xpert 4, it crashed. It seems that sudden increase of power causes the crashes? This happens every time i change from low speed to max on my ASUS software. But also when I booted my mouse was not "recognised by windows". ALSO I JUST RELAISED THAT 2 USB ports are now dead?! Maybe it is a motherboard malfunction? Or do you still believe it is Power supply because of the sudden power increase that could have killed 2 USB ports somehow?? Edit: Rebooted the system and the USB ports are now functioning as normal. But should I buy a mobo instead?
  9. kind of already did this. Got a new CPU for my birthday July 1st. But had these issues before the new CPU. (from 1600 to 3600) edit: also reseated my mobo when I changed chassis at the same time

  11. It says "windows latest shutdown of the computer at 21:47:13 the 2020-07-29 happened unexpectedly
  12. yeah i now noticed that when the system crashed it left no program crashes. the only message as shown here: and it only sayd that windows was not properly shut down with noi given info on why. Does this make you think it must hardware? (pic further down, for some reason it didnt come through)
  13. This is for my latest one. The icue from 21:21. I THINK thats when I got the latest crash. Not too sure This
  14. got this result: "slutade fungera" means "stopped working". It might be icue? got this result.
  15. Thanks for the fast response! but where do I find the "reliability monitor". I searched in the start menu and nothing showed up?
  16. When did it start and other problems My 3-year-old PC has been acting weirdly recently. First, it got weird graphic glitches that have been here since February I think, but that seems to have been solved with my very recent Windows reset (yesterday). Recent Reboot. Ever since a couple of weeks ago, my PC has been rebooting out of nowhere. No error message on Mobo, no blue screen, not under load, just a force reset when browsing or doing anything. Troubleshooting I have reset windows, reinstalled all drivers including BIOS, installed a new CPU cooler (it was too hot for comfort with the stock cooler). What to do now? I believe that this makes me think it is a hardware problem? I recently changed case and have now, today after my most recent crash, unplugged my Case power button if that maybe was the problem. If this doesn't help I want help with what hardware that could be causing this. Here are my thoughts: PSU, mine is 3 years old and only 80+ standard (check specs below) Motherboard, it did get some cables stuck under it and might maybe (very unlikely) have scratched the underside of it? Malfunctioning Graphics card. I have recently had trouble with 2 monitors but it seems odd to have this caused a forced restart of the PC Help Do you think I got this right, or do you have any other suggestions on what could be the cause of this force restarting issue? 17. Just checked and the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO is actually the most viewed CPU cooler in sweden lol. So it is pretty quiet? I will not overclock but want it to be quiter than stock.
  18. "The stock fan on the Ryzen 3600 can be loud." That's probably it then. Thank you. I used the USB stick version to install as I always do. I run my PC with WIFI so it wasn't really an option lol.
  19. After setting and using chrome with 20 tabs it runs at 60. Is this normal and the problem was maybe only bad thermal sensor programs that I used (old CPUZ and Openhardware). Although, the fans are quite loud. Noticeble from like 10 meters w/o side panel.
  20. Yes i installed it like 10 minutes ago. Thats the one in my photos. It was in the basic view
  21. Haha, I thought it was bad enough that it reched the limit! Thank you for your help.
