Thanks for your help, turns out that Linux just hates forge or something. Switched to Windows and it worked beautifully. (Was a VM so not a big deal)

changed to 1.8.0_241, had no effect

Can't figure out how to fix it, ideas? Just downloaded a server install from here. (Im on linux) Also, is this even the right place to post this? Have been having issues with my refurbished RX 570 and need to upgrade, as most games are unplayable because the card is dying. Mostly play games such as Apex or Minecraft atm but want to play Ark at some point. Thinking of going with the 5700 xt, but don't know if that's what I should go for, as I only want to spend $2-300 US. Thoughts?

if your going to overclock it I wouldn't go with the stock cooler

My computer froze, and I ended up having to force shut it down. It then powered up with my 2 screens looking like this (see picture 1) . I went into graphics settings and changed the resolution to 1080p and it then showed a screen on the bigger one, and did not detect the smaller one. Help? (running an rx 570 if that helps) Everything was working fine before the restart

I have a17 6600 and was using the on board graphics, and a few days after I switched to my new 570 4g my screen won't turn on after sleeping. Ideas?

@Happycowdance He will be using ray tracing, but not to the extreme He dose not have a specific job yet, and wants the best PC he can get in his budget (he wants to make detailed 3d graphics of tombs or something)

@Brooksie359yeah. he was very vague when explaining this to me so i have to guess on the specific applications

@Happycowdance He did not specify, but I would expect stuff like blender and cad (maybe some sketchup too)
