  1. My friend had the same thing in the past. His PC won't start and after pushing the on button, it just make a click sound and after that restarts itself but then also click and goes back to restart. Not able to proceed into windows at all. He changed the PSU and everything is working again. Maybe you can use another PSU to see if it works on your PC since you mentioned you have another PC.
  2. So far looks good. However I would recommend a i7 or i5 but 8th gen which has more cores. If budget is tight, get a smaller like 128GB or 250 GB ish for the SSD and get a 600W PSU for further upgrade.

    HD600 for gaming?

That was also what I read last time. Music is going to sound awesome on HD600 with DAC or AMP. But not so much on games. Personally I end up didn't purchase the HD600 as I don't really listen to music as often as I like. Most time would be spend on YouTube or games nowadays.
  4. The temp seems ok to me. They are in the 30C~ when idle. Max temp is when you start up your computer which is why there was a sudden high temps. What's the temp when you are gaming or when you are using some cpu intense program?
  5. Sounds like a RMA to me. They are known for light click but not rattles when shaking it. I assume something in it is not fitted nicely or broken.
  6. Solution would usually means waiting for awhile for the network to change from 2G to others. I think you can set prefer connection as 4G/LTE or something like that in the phone settings.
  7. Just did some google using your title and found some answer. Not sure if it helps but did you switch off the "Game mode" in your windows settings as well as (Not even sure what that is) DVR?

    SLI

Unless the game is written in a way that work well with SLI, if not, most of the time adding SLI will not benefit much at all. Also depends on your monitor. Example you have a 60Hz monitor and your current 1080Ti can already produce more than 60 fps then by adding another GPU will not be advised. Even if you have like 1000fps, your monitor can only display 60fps ...
  9. If you can find i7 then get it. If not, I would recommend a better cooler for OC since both your CPU and MOBO allow OC.
  10. Well, I used to played DOTA 2 so I'm assuming your issue now is due to the bottleneck. Well, having 2 monitor meaning output 2 x the usual pixel as well as your CPU will need to work harder with all the things you are opening on the 2nd monitor. I assume after you change your CPU, your issue should be resolved.
  11. Hmmm. I'm guessing for now the drop in FPS is due to bottleneck maybe? What games are you playing again?
  12. What's the spec of your computer? What CPU and GPU you using for now?
  13. I guess it's either you play with your side panel that are 1080p60Hz or you can start planning on another PC for your streaming. On a bright side, at least you can still do it. Some people can't even stream due to low specs hardware.
  14. Anyway, just google it and realized that the capture card actually does not help in a Single PC (which is your case). Capture card will help when you have 2 PC (1 to game on and the other to stream). https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/once-and-for-all-does-a-capture-card-help.8024/
  15. The truth is, I don't stream. Well at least not yet. So I don't think I am in any position to comment if a capture card will help or not. Hopefully some one who knows this can answer it here. But then again in theory, the capture card should be able to lesser the workload on your GPU. By how much, that I do not know. Sorry.
  16. Well ... Although I'm also using a GTX 1080, but I have never max it out before. But then again, my display are like 1080p60Hz so ... Haha. But then 1440p144Hz plus 2 x 1080p60Hz (side panel) does seems quite stressful to handle. Not to mentioned you are also streaming it ... What game were you streaming by the way? As long as it's not PUBG, then there might be some fixes.
  17. @Ryan_Vickers Even after he change the settings, it's still running and capping at 144fps so it didn't stop at 1080p60fps you wanted for the test.
  18. So I guess playing at 1440p at 144Hz is really maxing out your GPU. So either you play on your side panel (1080p 60Hz) or you can upgrade your GPU/get another PC just for streaming.
  19. @BlackHat2000 Like above mentioned, you could upgrade your GPU to a 1080Ti but then again getting another PC would be better if you are really into steaming plus hoping to be full time or at least make money out of your streaming.
  20. Ohhh. Okok. I guess I have not really update myself for a few years. Time for more researches and reading I guess.
  21. Wait. So you have 2 1080 running at SLI? I thot when 2 running SLI, the lane will be x8 and x8? Or did I remember it wrongly.
  22. Not really sure on the anti static bag. I think they will need to shield for your CPU socket. I would say just call ASUS and ask from them what they require. That would be way faster to get the answer.
  23. Haha. Yah. Please don't do that anymore. Anyway, Most headphone I assume will have some "weird" sound for the bass test when increase to unbearable level. I'm no expert in sound so ...
  24. Speakers vibrates to make sound (in a way). So louder sound = more vibrates. So when you lower your volume then the vibration are not so strong. Thus you don't hear the "hitting something else" sound. If it happens every time you increase the volume, then most likely your headphone is faulty ... Also depends what's your headphone.
  25. If we are talking about esports then that will be a different story. At least for mine, sometimes when the fps drop slightly, it will be around 55fps or 59fps (as far as I can monitor it so far). So to me those few fps doesn't affect me too much. But I agree on the more frames would be good (if I do get to "use" them).
