as the title reads, i get a very strange artifacting on my entire monitor when trying to enter bios, everything works fine else, its a newly built pc, built it about 13 days ago. its an Ryzen 5 3600 with Nh-u14s cooler, asus TUF rx 5700, asus TUF motherboard, 16gb 3000mhz ram, 650w corsair PSU. everything is stock, no overclocks, no dust build up, anyone got a clue why this is? temps are 65 celsius max during gaming, and gpu is 50-55 celsius max during gaming. my monitor is an ASUS ROG STRIX XG248Q 1080p 240hz 1ms. connected to gpu through a displayport cable.

i have oc genie 4 and also xmp in my bios

oh, i thought it was going to boost all cores to 4.5, i want like an 4.7ghz overclock. but i would settle down for a 4.5

cpu quality? could an i7 7700k from one vendor be bad quality and an i7 7700k from another vendor be a better quality? i just read again that 1.350 is max for an aircooling solution. i got watercooled. are you using an i7 7700k?

oh, how much vcore would you recommend? i heard that if you go above 1.350 without delidding it will be bad for the cpu.

oh, hmm, is there like a simple way? i know my i7 7700k has like a boost clock of 4700mhz but in game i only get 4200 with everything stock, how do i enable this boost clock?

I tried overclocking my i7 7700k as one did on youtube, 4.8 ghz with 1.208 vcore. But after an hour of gaming, my pc crashed with that blue screen and pc restarted, my cpu never exceeded 70C, it is watercooled. Is there any other setting i missed? I have the MSI z270 sli plus mobo

oh yeah i tried the game a few hours ago everything stock, but my lowest fps point was 80, and 80fps on my 166hz monitor looks like lag.

already tried that, turning settings off 1 by 1 seeing how fps changes, barely any differences.

temps are 30-50c and it says it's using 5000mhz with afterburner.
