  1. Hello. I will soon start collage and need a laptop for my daily studies (mainly programming) and as a good way to play games while im not living in my dorm. I've seen some 2020 models of the Razer Blade Stealth and Base model go on sale for about $1400 since they try to sell the last remaining in the stock and since im pretty picky about hardware it pretty much checks every box for me at that pricepoint. I have heard of Razer Blades having a pretty high failure rate or atleast having some troubleshooting in the past and I don't know if thats still the case, anyone who can share their experience? I would also want to know how the keyboard feels if thats ever possible. Traveltime for the keys, keywobble, etc. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello. I've been thinking about getting some smart LED lights for my bedroom with the soul purpose of having a profile that automatically dims the light depending the time of day. For example when the time is 21:00, the light will slowly start to fade out until its completely dark and then reverse vise versa by the following morning. I can't however find any good sources that bring a feature like this up. Does any of the more mainline products(like philips) or repuable sellers offer these things software wise or are they all just manual? Thanks in advance!
  3. I just got myself a Oculus Rift S and are about to try it out for the first time, i've watched the development of the game Boneworks on the creators youtube channel for about 2 years now and since then i've wanted to try it out for myself. That however changed after i saw the reveal for Half-life: Alyx, which looked just like Boneworks but more AAA and a bigger pricetag. If of u guys played any of these games please give me your thoughts of which i should pick up, don't be afraid to bring up stuff like replayability or diveristy in gameplay, just be aware not to share any spoilers and stuff like that. Thanks in advanced!
  4. So I have wanted to try out VR for a long time now and with the release of Boneworks and upcoming Half-life I figured it might be time to buy my own set. My thoughts dwell the most on the Valve Index since it would probably last longer in quality gameplay, but it is just really expensive. I dont know if especially the Knuckles, which is some really awesome tech, are worth the cost. But on the other side, the Oculus rift S looks is really affordable but compromises on a lot of things that I would assume to be a nessesity for a smooth experience. However I dont know if these compromisses would be noticable to me since this is pretty much the first time I would play in VR. Do you guys have any good suggentions for a first time buy?
  5. So i want to overclock my 6600k to reach above 144hz in all my games without dropping bellow that, but i dont know if my MSI z170a-s02 will support a stable OC since ill be going for 4,4 or 4,5 GHz. Is i even worth buy a new z170? They are pretty much all gone by now. The price for this one was about $120 if that helps.
  6. So my friend got a 1080ti from gigabyte this black friday and he just installed it and says he downloaded the new drivers and deleted the old ones. However, once he opens a game like GTA V the usage of the card drops down to 20-25%(Sometimes lower than 10%) and the CPU is at 50%. The game was running at 1440p at Very High settings and he got about 30-40 fps, any ideas of whats happening? He has an i7 4790k(no OC), 16GB DDR3 RAM, 800W PSU, for those who wonder.
  7. I bought a RTX 2080 since the prices in my country was mostly the same as the 1080ti and then i got ray tracing as an extra for my upcoming playthrough of Metro: Exodus, on of the few titles that support ray tracing. But now since Shadow of the Tomb Raider is out and doesn't have the raytracing in it, is it ever going to come out? What do you guys think is causing the "ray tracing delay"?
  8. I've been using Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2133MHz for about a year now, im thinking about upgrading but the variant with 2133MHz is all sold out, the only one in stores are the 2600MHz variant. Will it work if i use that or should i buy a whole new kit?
  9. How big of a chance is there that the "1.5x CUDA performance" is accurate? Is there any previous generation examples on that?
  10. Since the 20th of september is near, im struggling to decide if it is worth to spend money on a graphicscard that so far only grants better graphics but not framerates or res. My plan was to upgrade to the 80-variant when it got released but now i dont even know if its worth it. There is only one game(Metro: Exodus) i definitely will play so far that will support raytracing. Other than that im only playing games that probably wont even add it in. My plan is to play these games in 1440p at 144hz but will the RTX 2080 handle that when it have RTX off?
  11. I mean when the embargo hasn't a official date, not the launch.
