  1. What do you mean? The hardware? I'm In Australia.
  2. Hi all, I just built a new system, Rx 6800 R5 3600 16gb 3000mhz ram I know warzone isn't a great game to benchmark performance.... @ 1440p with a mixture of high and low settings i hover between 120 and 100 fps, I understand these are still great numbers, but they seem low, I was expecting something closer to 150 - 160... What do you guys think?
  3. Nice profile pic thanks for the help man!

Budget (including currency): Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hi All, I'm building a pc for my brother using a few of my friends, cousins and my spare parts.. Will a first gen ryzen 5 1600 and a gtx 1080 ti bottleneck at 1080p? If so, how badly? Thanks for reading!
  5. CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 Hi all, My question is; How far can I expect to oc an R5 3600 with a wraith spire, within reason, i.e. not extremely loud or running at 90c under load... Thanks for reading.

Or would the 212 be the better option?

I've seen on YouTube that even with a 3080, a 3600 can keep up... Reference: What do you guys thing of this upgrade, I understand ryzen 5000 is better, but it's quite a bit more expensive here in Australia, and I'd need a new motherboard. Thanks for reading.
  8. Budget (including currency): Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games, light school work Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): PC: Ryzen 5 1600 Asus strix b350-f Reference RX 6800 16gb 3000mhz ram After upgrading my gpu from a gtx 1080 to an rx 6800, I'm experiencing some bad bottlenecking; In games like warzone, on ultra 1440p, my gpu usage is at about 70% and I'm on average getting 90 fps, much less than what the card is capable of. When I set the resolution to 720p, I see no increase in frame rate, and when I set the render scale to 150%, my gpu usage actually goes up to the high 90's, and I see no decrease in fps, sometimes seeing an increase. Will upgrading from my first gen Ryzen 5 1600 to a third gen Ryzen 5 3600 decrease this bottleneck to where it is nearly non existent? I have seen that at 1440p the fps difference between the two cpu's isn't substancial, but as the 3600 is more powerful, would this have a difference effect on the bottleneck? ps. I understand the 5600x is the better cpu, but that'd mean getting a 5600x and new mobo, spending $600 ($460 USD) or more in comparison to $300 aud ($230 USD). Thanks for reading, Niko.
  9. Hi all, I just upgraded my Gpu from a gtx 1080 to an RX 6800, my system specs as follow: R5 1600 MSI Reference RX 6800 16gb 3000mhz Ram 550w Gold rated psu I realise my cpu and psu aren't ideal at all. After playing Warzone and watch dogs 2, my gpu usage seems to hover around 70-80% and my cpu usage 50% and in warzone, 1440p ultra settings I'm "only" getting 80 - 90 fps, in Watch dogs 2, even worse, averaging 50 fps on ultra 1440p settings... These results seem very low considering the gpu's capabilities. Am I bottlenecked by my cpu, or is this a psu issue?
  10. Hi all, I just upgraded from a GTX 1080 TI to an MSI RX 6800, I didn’t touch the drivers or anything on the software side I just unplugged the 1080 TI and plugged in the RX 6800. When I boot the PC I get no signal through the display port, the GPU and the fans light up and start spinning but nothing on the monitor. What’s going on? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks, Nick.

I’ve seen a lot of worrying posts regarding vram usage, whilst others point towards 1440p on average only using 6gb of vram, or allocating more vram than the games actually use. what do you guys think? thanks, Niko.

Mostly comp FPS titles such as war zone, siege, csgo, pubg, but some games such as cyberpunk (obv it will need to drop to medium settings).
  13. Not really, pretty much gaming and a little school work.
  14. Yeah I apologise. Pretty much just for gaming, and yeah, I could sell the old cpu and mobo.
