Sorry, you are completely right, there is a file called config. I am not sure what type of file it is though, it is just called "datei" which would translate into "file" If I try to open it with notepad++ the single line I get reads "{"prefs":{}}" (without the outer "")

No, there is nothing like a config file in those folders in that directory path.

Nothing in there, only a save folder and a unity folder which contains an "analytics folder" that has no config file

However I cannot get it running for Thea where I can't change the resolution, not even with a reinstallation. Any ideas?

ok got fallout 4 running, jsut changed the resolution via the launcher and then went back. And now it works after having deinstalled GeForce.

I can't find anything like that in my fallout4.ini file. I also can't find the ini file for Thea: The Awakening https://imgur.com/a/oHTfZ Here you ca nsee once my Thea folder, there is no ini. Also no Thea game under my documents/ My Games/ For fallout 4 there is no option regarding "resolution" or "height". Just can't seem to find it @DDOking All these games are on steam so not sure how applicable that is. They also have been installed for a long time now

I updated via Geforce Experience to the newest Graphic drivers, nothing has changed https://imgur.com/a/FbQCf These are 2 of the error mesages I get, sadly for Fallout 4 (the one in German) it is very standard. For Thea there seems to be some resolution issue, could this be related to other games? All these games worked yesterday. I have checked random games, some like League of Legends or Mount and Blade Warband work without any problem, so I have no idea to what the problem is tied to

So I got the request to update my pc about 2 hours ago. Did it and now voila, I can't play almost any game I have. From Fallout 4, to Thea: The Awakening or the game I bought AFTER the update, Offworld trading company, nothing works. I have no idea why. Is there a fix or can I somehow reverse the update?
