  1. So I just upgraded my graphics card from a gtx 980 to an rtx 3070. I have 1 monitor (acer xf240h) connected via displayport and another monitor (dell 1702FP) connected via dvi. The problem was that the new cards do not have dvi ports on them, so I bought a displayport to dvi cable and plugged that into my 980 first and it worked perfectly. Then, I installed my new 3070 and booted it with just my acer monitor connected and it works perfectly. I then shut down the computer and plugged in the dp to dvi cable for my second monitor and the computer will not boot, it doesn't even show the post screen. Nothing. So I turn off the PSU, unplug the dp to dvi, then turn it on and it will boot perfectly fine. Why is this happening? What I've Tried: - I've tried resetting the mbo bios back to default settings. Did not work. - I've tried a dp to dvi adapter conntected to a normal dvi cable. Did not work but the adapter did work with my old gtx 980 so i know the adapter is functional at least. - I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers twice using display driver unininstaller. did not work. - I've tried disabling g-sync, did not work I'm either going to have to buy a new monitor that has displayport/hdmi on it or fix the problem. I would really rather not have to buy a new monitor if i can help it. I know my current second monitor is really old but it gets the job done. 2. It is quite easy to find gtx 980s for $150 https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=gtx+980&_sacat=0&_sop=15 I wouldn't go with the r9 380.

  4. This is the best AMD system you can build new. There is a chance you may need to get an old 900 series GPUs from eBay. 5. I've just realized that i'm British so my build I recommended you is £500.But it is USD$644 build which is way above your budget. Soz, my bad.
  6. Problem with bitwit is that he uses a 1050 and Pentium. 1060 6gb and ryzen 5 will grant much better performance.
  7. But why? The 1060 6gb and r5 will give you a lot more performance.
  8. Oh, so you're a console peasant. Spreading lies and ignorance because your emotionally attached to sony. Anyway, here is some information for you. 1060 plays games at ultra settings, 1080p, 60fps. source Consoles play games (xbox 1 & PS4) at Low settings, 1080p, 30fps. Do some research Ya_Mi.
  9. The build I sent you will play games 2-3 times better than a console.
  10. A console would be a waste of money. Don't buy a console.
  11. if you don't want to buy used, I would recommend this.
