  1. I wanted to create a spanned drive using Disk Management due to my motherboard not allowing me to use raid between msata and sata drives. I already created a system image on a network drive just in case something goes wrong. Before I make my os disk a dynamic disk: How does windows 10 Disk Management handle spanned and striped volumes if there is an error like a bad sector? If there is a bad sector, will Windows automatically detect it and decrease the size of the spanned or striped volume? Or will the drive just become unreadable and I loose everything if a bad sector is detected?
  2. Does anyone know any AMD AM4 boards that will let you disable cores without disabling S3 (sleep)?
  3. So I did it and the manual was correct. I disabled 2 cores. I can no longer go into the S3 state and sleep. But I can now play Lost Planet 2. Any CPU or motherboard engineers out there that can explain why disabling cores disables the S3 power state?
  4. Why does disabling cores and/or hyper-threading disable S3? I just found out that Lost Planet 2 can only run on computers with at most 6 cores. But my motherboard says that S3 will be disabled if I disable cores or hyper-threading. I have the Asrock B450M pro4 and the Ryzen 7 2700. Does anyone know why this happens? I just want to play the game and have my computer sleep but my computer cannot sleep without S3.
  5. I have 3 SSD's and I want to wear them all out before I get a new SSD to replace them all. I want to use them as my OS Drive. However I am confused as to how RAID handles bad sectors and drive capacity shrinking . If I have a spanning array or striping array and a sector fails causing one of the drives' storage capacity to become smaller, will the RAID controller adjust the array maximum capacity automatically? (ex. The array consists of 3x 150gb SSD's 450gb total, one SSD looses 1GB of data due to bad sectors. Will the RAID controller adjust the maximum capacity of the array to 449gb for either spanning or striping?)
  6. When I looked discord didn't have keybindings for volume up and down? If it does then that's awesome. Post the link to the page that shows those options.
  7. Guys I mean the volume mixer in windows 10. Right click the sound icon and click "open volume mixer".
  8. Yes, however I want to do it using code so that I will not have to alt tab out of my game and enter the volume mixer just to do this.
  9. I am a gamer and I like to use discord as my chat application while playing video games. I want to know how I can use cmd, powershell,or whatever code to create a command that changes the volume of a specific application or device. For example. I could have 4 hotkeys. One raises the volume of the game, one lowers the volume of the game, one raises the volume of discord, and one lowers the volume of discord. How would I go about this using code?
  10. I do not have Air pods otherwise I would have done these tests myself.
  11. Can anyone with airpods on windows 10 show me a picture of their playback devices with their airpods connected to prove that it is true?
  12. Yes, but some bluetooth headphones wont let you use both "devices" at a time. Is this true for airpods?
  13. Some bluetooth headphones that have a microphone built in show up on windows 10 as 2 seperate speaker devices. One is for chat audio, the other is the "main" device for everything else.
  14. Thanks for the reply but that does not really answer any of those Questions specifically.
