  1. Makes sense! Good chance it's mPCIe instead of mSata then. Bonkers how it's not printed out anywhere what type of port it is since mSata and mPCIe is physically the same. I'll do a leap of faith and order the EXP GDC.
  2. I did some more research and someone said that Sata and mSata is exclusively for storage (makes sense since that's how it works on the PC motherboard). Since this slot is used for my wifi card isn't it safe to assume it's a Mini Pcie slot instead of an mSata? Unless the wifi card I have is designed for mSata...?
  3. I wanted to install an exp gdc on my laptop to give it some life support. But when I checked my laptop the wifi card was smaller than expected... What's going on? My question is, is this a mini pcie slot or an entirely different being? I'm installing an exp gdc 8.4 mini pcie variant.
  4. Ugh it's just starting to hit me how much I took my GPU for granted. I know it could be entirely my fault but I'm still bummed it only lasted me at most "only" 3 years. I'm actually afraid of going out to buy another expensive GPU just because of how sudden this happened as the model came from a reputable brand such as MSI. Oh well, thanks for the insight. It's been helpful! I'm probably gonna look for a 570 from some knockoff brand. Edit: What do you think of second hand GPUs that was used for mining?
  5. Well that sucks... I'll try to find someone who can tear the GPU apart and try to get it fixed. Still hoping just because of the fans and lights still turning on.
  6. No VGA ports on the GPU so I used a dvi-d converter and same, it doesn't work. Something different happened just now. The PC didn't immediately shutdown when I press the power button (had to hold it for a few secs like the usual to force shutdown). So I set up teamviewer, discord, steam etc to automatically start with windows and see if the PC is booting to check that it's not that the GPU is not transmitting any signal... Anddddd, nothing. I checked my friend's steam and discord friend list and I was not online even after a while of waiting. It's definitely the GPU that is preventing the PC from booting up, why is this?
  7. I just set up my dual monitor and after 15 minutes boot both my monitors suddenly lost signal. There was no warning or anything at all. I tried to boot with 1 monitor again which have worked the past 3 years but it seems like my GPU just suddenly stopped working. The lights and fans still come on from the GPU but my monitor doesn't receive any signal. I actually did something kind of stupid, there was a display port cable that was slightly too large and hits the casing that caused it to not insert properly. So I took a risk and slightly bend my GPU down a bit so the cable would fit... Heck bend is such a strong word, I'd call it slightly readjusting but whatever I try to say to make myself feel better I feel like that's the main cause of this. One thing I notice is when I try to start my PC with my monitor connected to the GPU there is only black screen AND I can turn off my PC immediately with the press of the power button. What kind of error is this? Hoping anybody have any clue so I can at least give a decent explanation to the service center, if it's even repairable. I only wish I had a motherboard that has a POST code. I already tried my GPU on my friend's PC and same stuff. No signal and you can immediately turn off the pc with one press of the power button. Also there was 2 pins that is either chipped or was just made that way.
  8. I've found it! The almost perfect headphones for me, costs a bit more than expected but I'm willing to go for it. The only problem I have is that it's a bit heavier on the Bass side and since I play games as well I'm looking for an alternative that has a more balanced sound. I'm looking for similar models to the HD 4.40, something over the ear, has great Bluetooth connectiong but with a more balanced sound. Is there such a headphone?

  10. Hey I need some help. I bought a superlux hd668b and the vocals of the 'st' sound is overwhelming and hurts my ear so much. Is this the headphone or did I get a faulty one? I'm thinking of selling this and buying a different kind. I lowered the mid to high frequencies in the EQ and it's more bearable but still noticeable.
  11. I ended up buying a couple of things for those interested. I got the HD668B for around $27 with cash back and one day shipping, a Velour Ear Pad for $10 with cash back as well and Massdrop's Minimic for $30 with shipping which arrives sometime during Christmas. Overall cost is only a staggering $67 with each product having great reviews. I can try the headset tomorrow too! I could've went with BoomPro Mic but they don't play well with the 668Bs, the ModMic is just too expensive at around $50 without shipping. Minimic costing $25 is the perfect balance. Overall I'm happy with this purchase. I almost bought a $150 Wireless Gaming headset (Arctis 7) that has an awful mic from what I hear and also a lot of people complaining about the sound quality, so I'm glad I did a whole day of research and end up with a set that has awesome reviews and costs half the price, albeit sacrificing portability and aesthetics.
  12. Really tempted. I can get it for around $25 with cashback. I think for that price I might as well give it a shot. Thank you!
  13. Only problem with the 668Bs it doesn't look like it'll be comfortable during long use which is expected due to gaming.
  14. Oh wow. Now that's more my price range, was a bit reaching to get the 280 Pro. I love the pricing of the 668B since I would have enough to get a good external mic, but I can go a bit more with the cost. As for the Siberia lineup I can go for the Siberia 350 if you would recommend it. What do you think of the Arctis lineup though, aren't they the newer Siberia's? I've heard they sound subpar that's why I scrapped that.
