Should I buy a good x299 motherboard, or wait for the cascade lake, pcie 4.0 and even sata 4.0 ? Because I am afraid of buying an Asus Rampage VI Extreme, and it becomes obsolete in a near future. Hi, I'm planning to start a new rig, for the OS System I would pick a Samsung 960 evo, but I am not sure if I use a 2 Tb WD Black (HD) or a 2 Tb Seagate FireCuda (SSHD) as second storage. My focus is playing some games and running applications, such as Unreal Engine, Photoshop and storing files like documents and images. Which one would be better overall?
