  1. I told you its a g213, it doesnt have mechanical Switches. Its a Membrane keyboard.
  2. The slash key works on other devices i can confirm that. I really dont think its the keyboard, read the whole explanation. Theres something going on with windows. But i just dont know what, thats why i came to this forum because i dont know what to do. No one else has this issue.
  3. Ive been trying to figure this out and i just dont know what the issue is... i dont have any key remapper software... and i dont even remember when this occurred, but ive been battling this for months, and i was hoping a windows update would fix it but it hast...
  4. I've come on here before and its helped immensely, so here's another issue. I have a Logitech g213 keyboard and the Backslash key below the question mark does not work. Before you say its the keyboard, the mystery thickens when i tell you that I can use the question mark key. Meaning I can [SHIFT] + [BACKSLASH] AND GET A QUESTION MARK. ITS NOT THE SWITCH. Besides, its a membrane keyboard anyways. I've checked the windows virtual keyboard and the same key does not work. Heres the strange thing, I dont have any key remapping software at all. But however the backslash on my numpad works on its own. Any ideas people?
  5. Sorry its been a few days. I got a an EVGA 650 BQ Semi-Modular power supply. The only problem i have now is finding an 8 pin eps female to female cord... Which for some reason is not a thing anywhere for cheap. I am not gonna spend $30 on a single cable from cablemod. Its ludicrous. For some reason getting a second female to female eps connector is nearly impossible
  6. So i found a psu that fits what i need and also my budget. But what i cant find is one more 8 pin EPS connector. Am i looking in the wrong place? Ive done many google searches already and i keep getting extension cables or whole kits as search results. Ive tried cablemod and they dont have an option for the cpu 8pin eps connector.
  7. Thanks! I have a $100 budget right now... So this might be a bit of a stretch. Modular PSU's are more expensive... But ive considered getting a modular one for this so i can use both CPU's before i get a whole new system farther in the future.
  8. Thanks! The second EPS connector wasnt something i would have thought about! Because i do plan to get better coolers for both sockets so i can run both CPU's. Cheaping out on a power supply is something that scares me a little... But i chose EVGA for their reliability. Lots of good reviews. But ill take your word for it.
  9. Question: will an atx power supply work with my server rig? Read below for more background info. Alright. I have salvaged server system with the following specs: 1x Intel Xeon E5645 @2.4Ghz Zotac Geforce GTX 1050 TI Tyan S7002 LE (SSI CEB) 32GB (4x 8GB) DDR3 Kingston ECC 1x 2TB HDD Some 1u power supply. Basically its a 1u Lenovo thinkserver rd230 with a gtx 1050 ti in it. Works great but heres my little dilema: i have 3 regular fans that arent jet engines for regular airflow (its sitting in a cardboard box right now -> im getting a case for it soon) and 2 fans in the power supply (600 watts) that are jet engines (sound, mind you) and its hella annoying. When you first start up the pc all you hear is that loud whirring sound for about 10 seconds then its a soft purr the rest of the time. Its quite annoying. Now here are the problems: 1. Its loud and obnoxious, so no matter how much sound dampening i have its still very audible from the top floor of my house. The pc is in the basement. 2. Im soon getting a case for my rig (finally) and the power supply cables will not reach. The 24 pin cable is probably nothing short of 4 inches long. Its a bottom-mounted power supply case. Now my question is: will an atx power supply work with my server rig? Ive done some google searches and none are clear enough. Ive read that the clip isnt in the right spot but im not sure if thats true or not. Im thinking of buying an EVGA 500w. Now you might be thinking "thats not enough for a server! They need over 1000 watts!" trust me. Its good. I only have 1 processor. Im not using the second socket because I dont need it right now. Not to mention the fact that the one i have already is 600w and ive had no problems.
  10. See i dont know what form factor it is. Its a 10.something by a 12 inches. So i dont know if i could spend a ton of money on a large pc case... Which is why i considered making one from scratch... I was hoping it could fit in a normal ATX by maybe ignoring some screw holes.
  11. This is the 1u case it came in. For hole reference. The mounting holes are not standard.
