  1. Not sure what’s exactly causing this but i think the monitor might be a clue. I’ve recently upgraded too SLI 1080tis a 1440p monitor at the same time so I don’t know what’s caused this. When playing on my main monitor my second monitor video doesn’t match the audio. And when ever I record games my voice, my friends voices and the game sounds don’t match the videos. At first it’s in sync but the further on the video goes the further the audio gets out of sync and by the end it’s not even possible to watch the video. ive tried recording on both the Cpu and gpu, on obs both go out of sync, on bandicam the voice matches with Cpu, but the video lags and the gpu the Audio goes out. I have no clue what to do.
  2. Update it goes between 70-100% load now. During cut scene was when load dropped. Second gpu can’t manage to go underneath peak load in scenes though. One is running 82c other is 73c which is honestly better than I thought living in Australia where it’s hot and this gpus are stuck in. scores a bit better I havnt broken these cards in yet will update peak score when I get my 1000w psu
  3. I can’t use heaven because it runs off a batch not an exe however I disabled beyond and it looks like both cards are in use now. However each card is under about 80% load.
  4. I defiantly didn’t put SLI mode on in heaven so that’s probably it. Is that in settings or in the Nvidia game control panel.
  5. By the title I’m sure you can tell what the issue is. So far I havnt tested in games but upon benchmarking, only one gpu goes under load, now the other card is actually going but it never goes underload, it’ll sit on about 6% while the other is max? Any tips? Nvidia control panel has both gpus registered in sli
  6. You are all good mate, some people take things differently I was aware of the potienial release I just chose otherwise. I don’t plan on even keeping the 1080tis for that long, SLI is just something I’ve always wanted to do despite the poor performance. both were brough used so return isn’t really an option, he sold them $200 cheaper than normal used price so I can’t complain. I sincerely appreciate the apology, you seem like a genuine person.
  7. Revealed not released, and the “rumour” is itll be priced the same as the 1080ti when it was released. If you can’t answer the question I’d rather you not comment at all? Why even bother like is it an attempt to “help” or are you trying to make others feel bad for their purchases? I have zero regrets getting these cards and I will not be cancelling the order I more than likely would be paying the same once the price drops as I got them for $650 AUD. I do not want a 2080 and my dream has always been to do SLI for looks not for performance. I some what appreciate what your saying but at the same time? Why? I’d rather if it’s not fit for the topic not to comment.
  8. There has literally been no evidence they will be released soon? And I don’t want to drop a shit load of cash for the 2080. The prices for them will most likely not effect the 1080tis as they will be priced higher than normal new releases, that’s my bet.
  9. Not sure where to put this so thought I’d post here. Might be asking a lot but Any 1080ti gigabyte owners here that could do me a huge solid, mine hasn’t arrived yet and I’m currently needing measurements so I can get a custom backplate made. Need length width and measurements as well as measurements for the SLI cut out because I’d prefer to have it cut out on the backplate in case I sell it with it or give it away. (Picture attached of finished backplate to show how much room is needed) and the pin cut outs too please! And if your a really up to it! The measurement locations for all four of the main screws, the backplate will attach onto them with a weak magnet. Cheers to anyone who would help me with this.
  10. Appreciate it thanks for the recommendations guys.
  11. So recently I brought 2 x GTX 1080 it gigabytes, and unknown to myself (yes I know I should have googled because I know gigabyte often doesn’t have backplates) they don’t have backplates. Can I buy aftermarket white ones I can install onto them? If so where and how? Does anyone know or has anyone done this before
  12. Hey guys I know this was dumb but I have zero regrets as I got both gpus for insanely cheap anyway. Just wondering will I have to upgrade my psu in order to run two 1080tis (triple fan gigabytes)? I did a test online and I found the recommended was 769w. I have a 80 plus 750w gold psu at the moment. Will it make the cut or no? The other psu I was looking at is a 1000w seasonic platinum for $150 AUD used (our prices are a bit high but that’s considered really cheap) Second question, my wifi card will be going in between the two 1080tis, only a couple MM from The top card, will it over heat the wifi card. I’m worried it could actually melt into the card below. Im thinking of buying a dongle but if it won’t harm the computer I’d like to not buy one. also other specs for psu wattage cpu: i7 7700k gpu: 2 x 1080ti gigabyte 6 n 8 pin storage: two small ssds and two HDD’s AIO: kracken x62 case: p400s mobo: asrock z270 extreme4 cheers everyone
